From end to end it was a wonderful stay. It was so good that after leaving to wander the Carolinas for a week, we returned for one more night at Knollwood House on our way to catch a plane home. It is a true delight whether golfer(seems to be golfing in every direction), equestrian (we were there looking for a...

The Knollwood House was a 1920s vacation home that has been lovingly converted into a first class B&B. The current owners, Joe and Lyndee Radigan, are two of the warmest people we have met in our travels. The common areas include a spacious living room, complete with books and games. There is a large enclosed sun porch and an outdoor...

Joe and Lyndee Radigan are wonderful hosts. They are very knowledgeable about the Southern Pines and Pinehurst area. The Radigans went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend the Knollwood House for many occasions especially a romantic weekend getaway.

Knollwood House is a lovely place to stay while visiting the wonderful Southern Pines area. The downstairs is quite elegant; the varying breakfasts delicious; and the bedrooms are large, comfortable, and quiet. Our innkeepers provided amazing and accommodating concierge services: they got us on the courses we wanted when we wanted and their dining-out selections were just terrific.

We were made to feel welcome from arrival to departure --- wish we could have stayed more than two days. The location, ambiance and cusine were great, but the hosts made our stay something to remember for quite a while.

Although we were only able to stay at Knollwood House for one night, it was a very enjoyable experience. The B & B is well appointed and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was delicious and inventive. The grounds surrounding the B & B are mostly golf course, quite serene and it was lovely to stroll around late afternoon. They did an...

The inn keepers, Joe and Lyndee Radigan, were such gracious hosts making me feel so special throughout my stay. The suite was beautiful and very comfortable, complete with a private bath and sun porch. The parlor and dining room were very charming and inviting but I particularly loved sitting in the sun room overlooking the back lawns and golf course....it...

The proprietors' attention to details makes this an outstanding find at reasonable rates. The House common areas are beautiful and our room was great -- included private bath, sun room and bath robes. Details include serving a glass of wine on our arrival, gourmet breakfast every day, accommodating our visitor, buying newspapers especially for us, remembering our breakfast beverage preference...

“All the rooms are excellent. Three inside the main house and two in a separate building. The separate building affords a little more privacy but all are excellent, both as to size and amenities.”
