We first stayed at the Richmond Inn in 2010. After staying at numerous B&B's thereafter, we decided that it was our favorite! We decided to go back for two nights in February 2017...it was just as magical as it was the first time! It has such charm and character...it is the ideal place to recharge. The grounds are gorgeous. And...

Great place to stay in Spruce Pine. Maggie, the inn keeper couldn't be more welcoming and makes a great cook to order breakfast each morning. Decor is mix of antiques and rustic and comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Also very clean. I have stayed here for multiple nights and would stay here again.

Very nice place to stay... great breakfast, and great Innkeeper... speaking of the Innkeeper... Let me tell you about Maggie... we were booked in thebed Richmond Inn for 2 nights, but due to a booking conflict by one of the employees, our 2nd night was not scheduled... Maggie felt horrible and immediately got on the phone and in about 15...

We got lucky due to a last-minute cancellation during fall foliage viewing trip after finding on Trip Advisor. This B&B is outstanding and the hostess / owner, Maggie, was extremely pleasant and accommodating. The rooms are spacious, clean, and each has a private bath. We will make it a point to stay here again and highly recommend.

My wife and I had the opportunity to spend the night at this beautiful B & B. Wish we could have stayed longer. The host, Maggie, was delightful and definitely has compassion for the weary traveller. She was warm and a pleasure to talk to. Breakfast was delicious. When we are in Western NC again, we will definitely plan to...

Grat price and even greater breakfast! I would definitely recomend it and if I were to return to Spruce Pine would not hesitate in booking at...

Recently several friends and I stayed at the Richmond Inn based on earlier Trip Advisor reviews. We really enjoyed our stay. This is a big house that is laid out perfectly as an inn. We relaxed in the great room when we arrived. The hosts are friendly and very accommodating. They helped us plan our stay in the area. The...

The Richmond Inn was an absolutely perfect spot for our visit. While you may see some negativity about my restaurant reviews for the town, the Richmond Inn fulfilled perfectly our expectation of a B&B. Maggie and the 'team' have established a peaceful enclave that is open and friendly. It drips with warm hospitality. We were repeatedly invited to help ourselves...

We loved our stay in Spruce Pine. The Richmond Inn was really sweet and very laid back. Everything about it was comfy and homelike. Maggie was warm and welcoming and the food was great. Having access to the kitchen/pantry was a bonus though we only availed ourselves of it for a cold bottle of water or two. The only negative...

We only got to stay one night but it was wonderful. Maggie is a great host and made sure we were happy with our accommodations. We stayed in the Hummingbird Room which is spacious and offered plenty of privacy. Breakfast was great and we felt like we were at home. Access to coffee and snacks after hours was an added...
