This is a beautiful campground . The river is clean and fun. Campground staff exceptionally helpful. We had a great time here. The only improvements I would suggest is to upgrade the 50's vintage faucets in the men's showers and to get a better hot water heater for the men's showers. I never got a hot shower even being the...

The campground location is excellent if you want to visit some of the nearby attractions like Biltmore or Black Mountain. The staff is very nice and helpful. There is road noise and quite a few trains that can be heard near the front of the campground. The campsites along the river are tight, even for RVs with only 1 slide-out....

We recently spent 1 night here. The staff were all very nice and friendly. We had 1 maintenance issue with our assigned site and they fixed the issue as soon as we called it to their attention, so no complaints there. We were disappointed they didn't have a “blob” jump pad like most KOAs we've stayed at, but it was...

My family and I recently drove from PA to FL. Since we had our dog along with us, we looked for a pet-friendly option to stay overnight at our half-way driving point, which was NC. (My husband had stayed at this particular KOA on a prior motorcycle trip & really liked it, so he suggested it as an option.) We...

We stayed here for labor day weekend and loved it! Facilities and grounds were clean. Kids had fun playing basketball, swimming in the pool, and the hayrides! When visiting the area again, we will definitely be staying here again!

We have been camping here every couple of years since 2007 (this most recent visit was our fifth, I think), and have never been disappointed. The camp is clean, and there is a lake where one may fish without a license (the Swannanoa River flows through the property as well, but fishing from the river requires a license). The camp...

We rented a deluxe cabin with its own bathroom and kitchen. It can house six people - basically it's a small house. They have utensils and Cook wear. Same price as a hotel but you can cook your own meals and have a campfire. (We also recently rented a two-room cabin which was half the price and still nice, though...

Very nice campground with a small river and two lakes. Quiet, scenic, lots of ducks and good fishing. The mountains in the backdrop provide for an outstanding view. The lots are a little tight but overall a great place to stay.

We go to Asheville every year and have recently started staying at campgrounds in our small camper. This was the perfect place for us, very peaceful, relaxing, and a pretty view. We were able to camp on one of the lakes and enjoyed fishing, walking our dogs around the lake, nightly campfires, and lots of peaceful time to read. Its...

We stayed there in September 2016. The campground was nice and the people friendly. The cabin we stayed in was very nice. One thing I did not like was having to being my own linens. They advertise that, but, its still a pain. The campground is good but does not have a lot of amenities. I like the layout and...

“Tip: The 2-room cabin is only $10 more than the 1-room cabin. Pay the extra $10 for the extra space. It's money well-spent!”
