Website says check in is 3:00, the hotel has 4:00 on the wall. Drove 5 hours, got to the hotel and they said our room wasn’t ready. Asked when it would be, they said they didn’t know. Manager told us it wouldn’t be ready until 6:30 at the earliest and shrugged his shoulders when we said we had wedding events to attend. He said housekeeping was on the 4th floor, and when we went up to look, there was no housekeeping to be found. Told the manager no one was up there cleaning, he shrugged his shoulders, rolled his eyes and said “well..they are up there.” Asked why we didn’t receive a phone call before arriving to let us know our room wouldn’t be ready we were told “why would we call you? We don’t do that.” We were also told that the manager had a “full hotel and rooms were going for over $200 a night and we got a discounted rate”. Due to a wedding..that’s why we got the discounted rate. They said they would call when our room was ready, they never called up. We ended up getting out key around 8:30 and never received an apology for any of it. Just very unprofessional, very uncaring. Will never stay here again.…
Booked here last minute for one night, room was clean, smelled clean, got a room with a view, staff very nice and friendly, beds were soft, sheets clean and comfy, comforter heavy enough to keep you warm. We enjoyed our stay here, and would recommend. Bring a sound machine with you though as the doors/walls insulation/buffers in the halls were missed during renovation. We did hear a lot of closing doors and tv through the doors while walking in the hall and neighbors in the next room when they arrived. AC unit worked well enough, not noisy, and bathroom fan was very quiet. Breakfast had the waffles, instant grits, cereal containers, muffins, yogurt, milks, fruit cups and fresh fruit, juices, coffee/tea, bagels, microwavable Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, microwaveable omelets in the fridge with sandwiches. Overall, it was a nice simple breakfast offering and filled the empty spot.…
My husband and I stayed at this Nice Hotel.. The Manager, Ron Jean, was as personable as it gets. The Room was tasteful furnished and the beds were SOOO Comfortable. Clean--Private--Quiet. The bathroom was immaculate with fluffy white towels. The Wi-Fi worked well. We brought our Jack Russell Terrier with us because they are PET Friendly. There is a small fee for a Pet but the staff made us feel so welcome.. Just a wonderful place to stay. I will look for another Clairion POINTE when I travel again.
Everything was wonderful! The staff was super friendly!!! Breakfast was great, room was great!!! No complaints 🙂🙂🙂🙂 We stayed for two weeks. Hated to leave. The view was stunning. Such a lovely little town.
Great staff and very pleasant and accommodating, our Rv was being repaired and we were there for a week with 3 dogs and our granddaughter, everyone was helpful, pleasant and accommodating, the manager helped us every way possible, we would definitely stay again
