I never stayed at a bed and breakfast before, but I knew I did not like them. I am a seasoned traveler, diamond member at Hilton, and had no desire to eat and hang with a bunch of people I did not know in a house. I live in a house. When I get a way, I leave my house...

We just had a 2 nite stay during the Folkmoot Festival and just loved it. The InnKeeper and staff were very helpful. Several couples there were repeat clients. Our room was well appointed with a working fireplace and the balcony overlooked the pond. More importantly the bed was great. They have afternoon cocktail hour where we talked with other guests....

I don't hand out five star reviews easily, and that's why Yellow House only gets four. I can't find anything really wrong with the place, just some minor details that need a little attention. Loose shower tiles and a musty smell, that's all. Those things are common to many old homes turn B&B. I like the old home feel, and...

I just spent two nights - or should I say, I just had two wonderful breakfasts - at the Yellow House. The rooms are wonderful, the food is just amazing and the peaceful mountain surroundings are a respite from the daily grind. Whether you want to shop in the eclectic shops of downtown Waynesville, walk around the beautiful grounds, taking...

My wife and I have stayed at the Yellow House twice and hope to make it at least an annual event. Great for anniversaries and romantic getaways. Shawn and his staff become family right away. He is a wonderful chef and very accommodating to any special needs you might have. We cannot wait until our next visit. Close to shops...

Our second visit was as nice as our first. We have started a tradition to visit The Yellow House for our anniversary and cannot say enough about this wonderful B&B. We stay in the Carriage House room and it is HUGE! The most comfortable bed, linens to die for, and the largest whirlpool tub I have ever seen. Breakfasts are...

We had the pleasure of spending our honeymoon here and it was a wonderful experience. The innkeeper, Shawn, and his staff went out of their way to ensure that we had a very pleasant stay. From the delightful gourmet breakfast, home-baked cookies to happy hour wine and cheese trays. Coffee, teas, fruits and snacks were on tap all day, as...

My wife and I met with two cousins and their spouses for a fantastic couple of days at the Yellow House. We stayed in the Carriage Suite which is luxuriously appointed. Shawn is the best innkeeper we have ever met. He not only is a wealth of information about the area, he serves some of the best breakfast foods ever!...

My husband and I love B & B's and came upon the Yellow House by chance and what a fortuitous day it was ! The rooms are just lovely especially the Windwardside Suite and the Carriage House Suite. And to top it all off, Shawn, the caretaker, provides the best food including hor d'ourves in the afternoon and a scrumptious...
