We stayed in a mountain view room and the mountains, the golf course, the grounds were all beautiful. Very peaceful scenery. Our room was clean however, the bathroom smelled a little musky. The bed was rock hard and I could barely sleep. The spa was unorganized. We made an appointment a week in advance only to show up and they...

Nice older golf resort with golf at your doorstep. It is not The Greenbrier or the Homestead but is clean and comfortable for the price. Staff very friendly and food was good. Golf shop not helpful at all to accommodate a single, should take hospitality lessons from their staff who seem to get it. Golf courses fun and in good...

We have stayed here three times and find it to be a great value for the Groupon price. Breakfast buffet was included in the price. It is two miles from the town that offers good restaurants and plenty of galleries and stores. We love visiting the elk in nearby Cataloochee Valley at the Great Smokey Mountain National Park. A short...

This is an older inn so could definately use new decor. However rooms were very clean and staff was very accommodating. Had lunch in the Tap Room and it was very good. Breakfast is a full buffet and the chef actually will make you omlets it was eXcellent. Absolutely love the town. Quaint downtown with lots of shopping. Make sure...

We decided to go to the Harrahs Cherokee Casino a couple of days after New Years 2015! We searched for a place that had some class. We also wanted a place you could bring your dog! The Waynesville Inn Golf Resort and Spa had just what we were looking for! All the employees at the front desk took very good...

The hotel is clean, however is DEFINITELY NOT a 3 star by Atl/Marriott standards at all!!! The staff was OVERLY friendly, SUPER FANTASTIC STAFF, and the breakfast was great! Knowing there are few options for hotel rooms in Waynesville, we chose this Inn. Our king room was in the original hotel section, very old, dated and musty. The carpet was nasty. Needs updating. The price point thru Travelocity was great. The bar food was bland but the service was good. We had breakfast coupons, but did not use them as...

We stayed here mid-week, off season, so it was not crowded. We were in the golf view building out from the main hotel itself. Thanks for posting a review! I am glad you enjoyed your stay. Just as you stated, many folks prefer staying in the main building, especially in the winter, so they don't have to walk or drive up for breakfast. However, a lot of our guests like the Golfview and Brookside buildings because the rooms tend to be bigger and provide...
