Buffalo Tavern is such a peaceful place to visit. The Inn was lovely and Doc was a great host. We were only able to stay for one night, but it was a great way to usher in the Fall season. We will definitely return!

We only stayed at the Buffalo Tavern bed and breakfast for one night, but it was a very quaint, pleasant experience. Doc was a great host. He was very friendly and welcoming. You really got the sense he was welcoming us into his home. We had a lovely breakfast where we shared the dining table with other guests. This invited...

My husband and I recently spent a week here. We have stayed in many B&B's in the US and Europe and Doc's place Is among the standouts. I loved that he had coffee and hot water for tea or hot chocolate available for consumption before breakfast, as well as pastries. Breakfast was different every day and original. Doc is very...

The Inn was beautiful, well kept, and still historic. The rooms were comfortable and just like home, again still historic. We stayed in the President's Suite but walked through the other rooms. Views were breathtaking. Breakfasts were delicious and comfortable as "Doc" along with other guests sat down and conversed. "Doc" was amazing and makes the Inn what it is...

Needed to blow off some steam and this is a great place to do it. Very charming old Tavern with lots of stories to tell. The host, Tracy was so friendly and the large cooked breakfast will keep you going for most of the day. If that is not enough there are handmade snacks in the common area. This is...

Rooms: They have 4 rooms and all of them looked very spacious. Mine was one of the upstairs rooms in the front of the house called the “Flappers Room.” It was nice to be able to look out the window and see the beauty of the mountains. The bed was very comfortable. They had plenty of pillows on the bed...

My wife and I booked two nights at Buffalo Tavern for a short getaway and we are glad we did. It is a short drive outside West Jefferson which makes it great after spending the day on the town. Our room was quiet and very comfortable. We really enjoyed getting to know Doc and the other guests during our stay....

I love historical homes. You can just feel the history of the grounds. Doc has maintained the charm and renovated this home into a beautiful B & B nestled in Buffalo, not far from downtown West Jefferson. I've been to quite a few B & B's and must say that the food was fabulous! Lots of love and attention to...
