We loved everything about our visit to Wilmington, especially the Clarendon Inn. This lovely inn is so quiet and yet so close to the waterfront and all of the restaurants and shops. We were able to park our car (and the parking behind the inn is spacious) and walk everywhere. Our room was immaculate and very nicely decorated. The bed,...

This place is so consistently well-reviewed that you wonder if it is for real or whether you will be disappointed. It is - we weren't. Nothing really to add to the other reviews on file. You can rely on their own website and the trip advisor reviews to give you a totally accurate picture of what to expect. This is...

My husband and I stayed at the Clarendon Inn for our nieces' wedding. The rooms are spacious, clean and beautiful decorated. The staff was so nice and helpful in any way all you had to do was ask. The Innkeeper, Michael made you feel welcome as soon as you entered. Parking was great and you could walk to anything that...

My daughter and I recently stayed at The Clarendon Inn for my niece's wedding in downtown Wilmington. The rooms were spacious and beautiful and everything was impeccably clean. The staff was so friendly and accomodating in every way. Made you feel like you were staying with a family member! The location was great in regards to walking distance of everything...

Our daughter's wedding was in Wilmington, NC in August/2011. We toured downtown accommodations for out of town guests and fell in love with the Clarendon Inn. Mr. Michael is the biggest seller and DJ doesn't do a bad job herself. Upon entering the Inn, you can tell immediately that Michael and his staff simply love what they do. The whole...

Excellent location in historic district. Spacious, comfortable, attractive rooms, not as frou frou as some B&Bs. The continental breakfast is fine--homemade biscuits and cute little muffins. The real draw is Michael, the warm, funny, knowledgeable manager, who loves his city and can't do enough to make sure you enjoy it. (We asked for directions to Airlie Gardens and he whipped...

My husband and I spent 2 nights at the Clarendon Inn and were delighted with the room decor, size and amenities, the comfort of the bed and the cleanliness overall and convenient parking. Michael, our Inn keeper, was a delight and gave us great recommendations to all the eateries and sites. Each morning we took our breakfast outside to the...

My mom and I stayed here for one evening on a return trip from Charleston to Baltimore. The staff at the Clarendon Inn was friendly and helpful and not only were our accommodations comfortable and nice, it was very clean and well maintained. The biscuits at breakfast were a special touch!

The Clarendon Inn in Wilmington, NC, was a beautiful Inn, impeccably decorated, and had the most friendly Innkeeper ever! Mike was so accommodating, going above and beyond the innkeeper duties to help our family out. My son needed a prescription filled, and this happened on the morning my husband was playing golf, so I didn't have a car. He recommended...

The inn is located just a few blocks from the downtown waterfront and has "off road" parking in the rear which is actually the entrance. Rooms are tastefully decorated, comfortable, and well appointed. Snacks and continental breakfast were good and sufficient. Management was courteous, friendly, and accommodating. During the week they have a special on all rooms for $99 which...
