Our stay at Graylyn was outstanding. We rented the Gardeners cottage for our whole family. Loved the area, the cottage and main building were amazing, the food was very good and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay as nice as possible.

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

A lovely spot that allows you to completely relax and enjoy all that surrounds you. From the cookies in the evening to ice cream throughout the day. The gardener's cottage was remote and delightful, with a separation from the main house for privacy with all the expected benefits of staying at Graylyn. It was just beautiful and we can't wait...

Loved the atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and nice. When I requested items I had forgotten staff was very quick to respond. The only issue I had was the noise level while sleeping at night and you were waken early each morning as well by the noise out in the hallways.

Excellent except I prefer firmer mattresses. Food good and accommodating staff. I gained 3 pounds during my trip at this venue. The conference rooms were way too cold but this kept me awake and active with my team.

We only stayed one night but if we are in the area again we will try here first. The facilities were very well kept, the staff was courteous and friendly, and the breakfast we has was delicious. The history as told by staff is a plus as well.

Maybe time for some automatic / electronic locks. The keying system is a bit dated and less secure. Also, bathroom could use a few shelves or places for shaving kits, etc. closet area could use some better lighting as well.

Our cousin booked this great place for a wedding. Food was excellent and 'butlers' are always there ready to help. They have small function rooms for intimate gatherings. The chef was very friendly and they even ask if you liked the way they cooked your food. This place is part of the Wake Forest University and so rich in history.

This hotel is a must if you are in Winston Salem, once a home for one of the tabacco owners. All of the estate still has all the original furnishings, panels, and art work, it is like a small Biltmore. The rooms in the Manor, top floor are brand new, really nice. The bar downstairs was quaint. We had dinner out...

I had a wonderful time at Graylyn. Its tucked away and easy to find. the rooms do show some signs of age but it added only to the character of the place. It is nice to stay in a place with such history! I have told my husband the stay here is reminiscent of Asheville/Callaway gardens but on a smaller...
