We have a 10 year old son that loves to stay at the Brookstown Inn because the staff are really fun and friendly. Their rooms are nice and the complimentary happy hour and breakfasts are wonderful. The location is convenient to everything. We love to visit Old Salem and Pilot Mountain, plus pick up wine from the nearby wineries (especially...

We stayed here the night of January 14th while on a road trip. We were really looking forward to staying at the inn and booked a room with the following description "Large Room with Two Queen Poster Beds. TV, extra-large bathroom, exposed brick walls, 16' ceiling, period furniture, and hard wood floors in some rooms." We were excited about historic...

Beautifully renovated mill in historic district. Room was nice and beds were comfortable. Amenities included a wine and cheese reception and cookies and milk before bedtime! The only complaints were very loud pipes when hot water was turned on and a subpar breakfast..

We have stayed at the Historic Brookstown Inn on every visit we have ever made to Winston-Salem, in large part due to the wonderful staff. I have reviewed it most favorably after each stay. This time, however, we were met with one of the worst frontdesk managers I have ever encountered anywhere. Cherie [--] not only accused me of 'berating...

The check-in staff at Brookstown Inn were incredible! Aaron and Cherie treated us as old friends. We checked in during the beginning of a snow storm and everyone was so kind and hospitable to anything we needed. Our rooms were very large and unique as they were in an old historic building. We could watch the snow fall from the...

This is my second time staying at the Brookstown Inn. I commute to work and usually stay here when the weather gets too bad. I am always satisfied with the front desk staff, they never hesitate to accommodate me. The room was so spacious! Everything was perfect, I would stay again.

Our goal was a short-but-sweet Christmastime getaway weekend. The Brookstown Inn offered a perfect package--tickets to Old Salem, a spacious room, wine, cookies, and a hot breakfast. The decorations were lovely, the staff was gracious, and the parking plentiful, although the walk to Old Salem was a bit long once the rain started! Our room had a lovely view of...

The Brookstown Inn is a beautiful building in a great location. Clean and welcoming. We were excited to get away for a weekend break... however by bedtime our room was unbearably hot; stuffy and truly stifling! We turned the thermostat down as low as it would go (50) and turned up the fan... but there was no way we could...

We have stayed here twice. Both times were over New Year's eve and the way back from vacationing in the south. This hotel has many ammenities and history. It's conveniently located to Old Salem and a great restaurant called the Willows Bistro. The decorations at Christmas are delightful. Breakfast the following morning was great. I would highly recommend staying here...

We purchased a New Year's package which included a one night stay at this hotel, tickets to a Winston-Salem Symphony concert and a midnight champagne toast. The front desk staff took care of check-in quickly and efficiently. We went up to our room and it was toasty warm. We actually turned off the heat because it was so warm. We...
