We stayed for 3 nights in Deluxe room. The room is beautiful, clean and spacious with living area, dining area, kitchenette and balcony. Our room is at 8th floor, the sea view is just amazing day and night. Ms Abi at the reception is very nice and accommodating. She fulfilled our request and explained every single details clearly. And Mr Toh at Jendela is also very friendly. We had dinner at the restaurant and he was there to help and check on us many times. Food are tasty and we get RM100 food credit during the stay. Thanks. Kids below 13 years old get to eat buffet breakfast for free. Housekeeping team is also doing great job everyday. Keep up. Thanks Angsana team for making our stay pleasant and memorable.
we booked our stay via traveloka with hlb card promotion which is very attractive at 30 percent discount. initially we nvr think still can get the opening offer but it turned out to be still available. we booked a deluxe room for two nights. we checked in at ard 4 pm. check in was a bit slow but the receptionist is quite professional. room is spacious with a small living room and kitchenette. unfortunately as we were at third floor, the view is blocked by trees but its actually good enough. we noticed that room at the first floor in the same wing can have direct access to private pool. when we checked back the room category, the room provided are 2 bedroom suite, and its very weird for couple like us to stay in this room despite that we would love to stay in. the room was spacious with a huge bathtub and bathtub caddy. however, its quite to difficult to rqd for turndown service- light up of incense. i like it as usb ports were provided in the room. there are two swimming pools . one is supposed to be for family with children and another one located near restaurant provide better view. the water depth not very adequate and its actually in another wing, which is some distance away from our room. if happen to book a higher category room, you will be nearer to the children pool. quite disappointed with this. buffet breakfast was at jendela restaurant. its basically contactless as the staff will help to take the food to your plate. but everyone has to queue up. for certain ppl who are not patient and not maintaining so as they will get closer and closer during queue, everyone is actually at a higher risk. i would prefer to provide gloves to the customers during the buffet or just serve ala carte. the food is delicious and a lot of variety. however, due to this reason i decided not to join breakfast the next day. we had a high tea at restaurant number 11 and the food was good. initially plan to hav dinner at the same restaurant but it was not open at night. we hav our dinner at jendela restaurant instead and we truly enjoyed the food.we bought a cake upon departure and the cake was delicious. we took a 90 min massage session at the temporary massage room. the therapist were professional and we quite like it as well. i decided to rate it a 5 stars based on the services and food. the staffs were trained and professional. the food were up to par and i wish to come back for the food. there are many things need to be improved including speed of checking in and passover of staff regarding check our time( we checked with the staff on the day of check out and was allowed to check out at 2 pm, later we received another call to enquire on check out time😂). there should be a mart ir convenience store in the hotel so that guests do not need to drive out to get the necessities. the place is quite secluded and maybe dangerous at night. …
All rooms have a great seaview. The hotel is very new, it was only opened last year. Rooms are clean and new with a fantastic view of the sea. We took the Deluxe Sea View rooms that comes with a small but adequate balcony. We sipped our coffee every morning while enjoy the sea breeze. The location is also further up north in the Penang island, a short distance further up from Batu Ferringhi so you do get a lot more privacy. Only a few things to take note off :- 1.) Limited food menu choices from the hotel restaurant for lunch and dinner.(maybe still new) 2.) No food available yet at the beach bar. (Also still new, heard they would have BBQ later) 3.) Occasional 'public crowd' in the beach area, we have seen the security guard chase them away, but not all the time. (Something pretty annoying, as some of them started to camp right infront of the hotel beach) They also follow strict SOP during the Covid period.…
Overall the stay is good , the breakfast is good, the room is awesome. BUT the full spa is not ready and the spa menu is different from what been listed in website (a bit disappointing) , the spa is using a temporary makeshift room. Beach front counter still not ready and there is no towel service at beach front. One thing that deserve a creditable mentioned is the Hotel SOP practice to curb covid 19, good restaurant control and crowd mgmt.
Was there for Christmas so the prices of the rooms were higher. Felt that the rate we paid was kind of steep for the size of the room that we stayed in. However, we had fantastic views of the beach and sea. The kids really enjoyed the kids’ pool and the beach. There is also a kids play room but we spent all of our time at the beach or the pool. Breakfast spread was satisfactory too, and overlooks the infinity pool. All in all, a good beach holiday for the family.
