The place is reasonably clean, I'll grant that. The staff are nice. Newish refrigerator in room. Beyond that, a bust. The building is old, dilapidated with uneven floors, hideous carpeting, and painted cement block construction. In an earthquake, it would be a disaster. The building looks bleak, and the basic rooms, unremodelled in the current or past century, simply do...

What can I say. It is a old Hotel in a small town. The place is clean and the staff is very friendly. Cant ask for much more than that. We had a room on the third floor (which was really the 2nd floor) and if you opened the window and stuck your head out you could see the water....

We asked for a quiet room but on arrival were given a room on the bottom floor. The plumbing noise was horrendous. As we were staying for two nights we asked to be moved and they obliged. As we were on a wilderness trip the next day, the staff moved our packed luggage to the new room on the top...

Only stayed over for one night and while accommodation was fairly average it was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Had a reasonable evening meal at their restaurant. Breakfast was very basic to say the least but over it met our needs.

My husband and I stayed at the Haida Way the night before beginning a multi-day sea kayak trip out of nearby Telegraph Cove, and for a couple of nights after coming off the kayak trip. The location to Telegraph Cove is convenient…less than a 30 minute drive over good road. The staff at the Haida Way is friendly and helpful....

The Staff were very friendly and helpful. I really appreciated the staff after a very long road trip. It makes all the difference in the world after a 12 hour day on the road. The rooms were comfortable. The free breakfast was very good. I would definitely stay here again.

Food was very good with large portions at a reasonable price. The room was quiet and equipped with an excellent shower. We found the receptionist slightly difficult to understand but she was very helpful.

Stopped here one night on our North American road trip. Was surprised to find no plaster on the walls, just painted breeze blocks. Not a problem, just a bit strange - not particularly cosy or homely. Other than that the room was large, beds comfortable, bathroom ok and we slept well. There was no air con and while the window...

Our hotel in Port McNeill was comfortable, pleasant-looking, centrally located, and operated by very friendly and efficient staff. The dining room was attractive , with very good food and service. This dining room is more formal, but a large pub with a good food menu is attractive with good views. From the hotel you could walk in ten minutes to...

We stayed overnight at the Haida Way Motor Inn and we were impressed. Check in was easy, and we were warmly greeted as they were expecting us. The entire building is very clean and the rooms are quite comfortable. It reminded me of military barracks, as the building is built of cement block. And the hallways are narrow, bathrooms are...
