My husband and I have been visiting Takahashi Gardens at least once a year for the last six or seven years. There's literally nothing about this accommodation that needs improvement. Elaine, the host, is prompt to respond to booking requests, and is an excellent and clear communicator, whether by email or the convenience of text. She has thought of every...

I had booked Nikko Cottage for my elderly mother and her sister from Japan. Elaine was fantastic from the day I phoned to confirm their reservation to the day of departure. She kept in touch with me to make sure the ladies were comfortable in the cottage. She even offered an early check-in, since she had nobody staying in the...

We stayed in the Nikko Cottage for the first part of our honeymoon earlier this summer and had an amazing time! The cottage had everything we needed for our four night stay. We enjoyed drinking coffee every morning on the private patio, and used the private hot tub every night. We really liked the location; it was a quick drive...

We arrived on a Monday. Texted Elaine we would be late as the ferry was running behind Elaine was okay with that and greeted us when we arrived. Elaine is a fantastic and very likeable lady. I felt comfortable the moment we arrived. We stayed in the Nikko Cottage. We were in the back but there is still a view...

We stayed in the Umi suite over the long weekend. The suite was great, a well equipped kitchen and amazing view from our deck and hot tub. Elaine treated us like royalty and couldn't do enough. The perfect getaway.

If you are looking for a escape from the mad, mad, world, don't look any farther! This truly is the most serene, tranquil hideaway yet. Our host was the most, always there if we needed anything. Quite, a little remote and so zen like! It was a wonderful experience.

We stayed at Takahashi Gardens for the Canada Day long weekend. From the moment the suite was booked Elaine was ready and eager to help and accommodate us. She went above and beyond amd we couldn't be happier to have chosen Takahashi Gardens. We stayed in the Yami suite (I think) which is like your own small 1 bedroom or...

We stayed three nights in the Nikko cottage. The natural peace of basically living in a forest is fantastic. Combined with a fully equipped cottage and a private hot tub was perfect for city slickers like us! Elaine, the host is lovely. We were especially pleased with her check in process as she made it most convenient for us. I...
