We first stayed at Vicky and Richard's B&B when we brought our son to start school the following day at the nearby Shawnigan Lake School Sep 2012. Vicky and Richard knew the school well and their reassuring words to my son were sure helpful to take away some of the jitterbugs of starting in a new school. So staying at...

Vicky and Richard are fantastic hosts. They were very accomodating to our needs since a bunch of us were running in the Shawnigan Lake marathon. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The food was great too and I really can't say enough about the company! Vicky and Richard really made us feel like family. I would recommend this B&B...

Vicky and Richard are the most amazing hosts. I have never stayed in a B & B with hosts like them. They take you into their home and make you feel like family. I have never laughed so much with a host. Woodview is a must for anyone in the area. It is a place like no other. The food...

Spotlessly clean and our hosts thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. They were so helpful assisting us with travel questions and served a great breakfast. Easy walking distance to restaurants. Would recommend this B&B to travellers looking for a friendly well run B&B.

Thank you Vicky and Richard for sharing your home and for the wonderful breakfast. You have the perfect personalities for running your B+B and it is obvious that you put a lot of thought into ensuring your visitors are comfortable. Would recommend your B+B to anyone. Thanks again from Marg and Lynn.

My husband and I had to find somewhere in the Shawnigan Lake area quickly and at the last minute we were extremely lucky to find Richard and Vicky at their lovely B&B. We called late and Richard was so accommodating and able to switch things around and get a room ready for us and all done with warmth and humour....

My husband, daughter and I have stayed at quite a few B&B's all over the world and Richard and Vicky's is easily now in our top three. We spent a week with Richard and Vicky, from the moment you arrive you can tell they take pride in their B&B - the garden was a sanctuary - restful, colourful and well...

My wife and I attended a wedding about 5km from The Woodview Bed & Breakfast. The Wedding ceremony was phenomenal. The reception left something to be desired. The highlight of our weekend was Woodview. Their service...wasn't service at all. It felt like staying with Family. It was THAT GOOD! You could tell they enjoyed making you stay fun, and enjoyable!...

My wife and I spent one night with Richard and Vicky before attending the Shawnigan Lake Car Show. My collector car was happy tucked away in their garage for the rainy night. We really appreciated the extra services they provided. Even their dog was great company. We will return.

I stayed the weekend of the Shawnigan Lake Triathlon. Wow. We were treated like the Elite athletes we aren't. Vicky got up in the middle of the night to prepare her world renowned porridge to last us through the race. Richard drove us to the start area and picked us up after. We were then treated to a post race...
