The hotel was easy to find and has a beautiful back lawn overlooking the ocean with comfy chairs to sit in and enjoy the view. The room was a little small but we had a renovated room and it was very comfortable. There is a restaurant but it only serves breakfast. Within walking distance to the town wharf and walkway...

Staff was welcoming but not well organised. I was offered a ''renovated room''. It was clean but the bathroom had not been renovated and dated from back in the 70's or 80's. Room trimming on all walls was missing. No ice bucket, limited wifi and tv channels. We ended up not using the shower. Noisy hallways, You can here everything...

Thank you Ron for your comments. We wish you had enjoyed your stay a little more… It is true that some of our washrooms need to be rejuvenated. This is one of our priorities. As for being noisy in the corridor, unless there was a festive activity in town, the hotel is usually very quiet and tranquil. Perhaps it is...

Phoned and booked with front desk, I requested a drive up which is the reason we were staying there. When we arrived the room we were given was not a drive up they said they didn't have any, from what I could see there might only have been 10 rooms rented in the whole place. The room itself was very...

Dear Ms. Christine, It seems when something goes wrong, everything goes wrong. Indeed, we are very sorry that the room assigned was not satisfactory. This room was in a section that had been closed for the winter season, and items, such as hairdryer, clock, should have been there. Other items mentioned are part of an upgrade which we are presently...

When we looked at the previous reviews we weren't sure to go there or not but still decided to give it a try. Our room was renovated, really clean, nice air conditioning. They offered us at our arrival to go check out the rooms and we could choose the one we prefer there isn't actually an ocean view but you're...

We booked a last minute stay here when plans to camp fell through. The rooms are being renovated and will look fantastic when finished. Our room was partially renovated, but the furniture and carpeting was lovely. They should improve the access to the beach as we all found it really added to the property. The back grounds were also spectacular-...

We drove into Caraquet later in the day and decided to stay at the "Auberge" based on a review of the NB tourist guide. We only stayed because it was late and only for one night, or else I would have packed up and left (after seeing the room). I really tried my French (which is rudimentary school French) at...

Very old, dirty carpet, very small bathroom. Don't expect anything else but bed and t.v. No fridge, no micro waves, no coffee machine. We paid 82$ per night, in October 2011, and I've stayed in similar hotels in the middle of August for 65$. In the tourist guide they give that hotel 3 stars but in my opinion it doesn't...
