We stayed here as our first stop on the Cabot Trail. The rooms are a little dated, but obviously well cared for, and they have everything that you need. They let us keep our car parked there for the week while we biked around the trail, and allowed us to get our luggage dropped off there on the final day,...

On a warm summer’s night dinner on the porch is very enjoyable with plenty of people watching and enjoyable Baddeck view. This, like the other Baddeck restaurants is casual, the service was OK and the food was tasty. The guitar soloist added a pleasant touch to our experience. Good place to eat...not dine.

We had been tent camping but the rainy/foggy weather on this particular night was more than we wanted to deal with after a long day on the Cape Breton drive. We stopped at the information kiosk across from the Lynwood and ended up getting a room there. The practice there is to quote a fee for 2 people and then...

We had booked with another hotel in Baddeck which was a huge mistake. The room was terrible and my wife and I decided to look elsewhere. The town is nearly sold out of rooms and Cathy at Lynwood Inn saved us. We are so glad she did. Our room was spotless. The staff is incredibly friendly. It has air conditioning...

Old hotel in a great location. You can walk the entire town from here. Rooms are old fashioned, but everything worked like it is supposed too. Please note there is no elevator. Our room was on the third floor and we had to do a lot of stairs. So if you have a problem with stairs be sure to request...

We booked Room 2 in the actual hotel. It had a sitting room outside our door and our room was large with a small sitting area. I think the room was a good value. It was spotless and I enjoyed the artwork. I did feel that there was too many old items on display and worried I might break something....

The old Victorian building is lovely, but most of the suites are in a modern building next door with a little less charm. Air conditioning a bit loud as it turns on and off during the night. The restaurant has ok food, but a lovely deck and fun live music. Bathrooms had jet tubs! Good location.

The Inn was cute, vey large suite, very clean. Were told the Jacuzzi suit was incredible because of the "large Jacuzzi"..just a normal size tub with jets. Couldn't even fit my husband, 6"2. The food was awful, I was served dead muscles, either instant potatoes or day old potatoes and my vegetables tasted like swamp water. The patio and dinning...

We drove by the Lynwood Inn several times and the large outdoor eating area helped us to decide to eat there We had the pan fried haddock and were let-down by the breading on the fish. The fish was well cooked but the taste and texture of the breading lowered our enjoyment. It is a very busy restaurant but our...

Room was well appointed and very comfortable. Excellent bathroom and really well priced by comparison to many other accommodations on our 3 week tour on the east coast. Close to everything in Baddeck and central to all of Cape Breton Island. Great stay.
