I've recently travelled with my husband in mid-October for a week to Lunenburg , over Louisbourg and Sydney, and we've spent our last trip to discover the colourful Cabot trial by staying at Cheticamp Motel for two nights. Our overal experience is beyond our expectations, the room is so spacious and clean with more than our needs' utilities. In particular,...

The room was very clean and comfortable. The owners were very accommodating. We were on a photography tour with 11 other people who also stayed at the motel. We would highly recommend this place for it's hospitality and convenient location to the Cabot Trail. Had a great time thanks to Ethel and Frank.

This a small personable 3 star motel we found on Canada Select. It's not the Hinton, but it is awesome for the Cabot Trial. Super nice husband and wife team running it. They were awesome in helping us to find great things to do while we were in Cheticamp. Highly recommended!

This little motel holds its own against newer, more expensive outfits. Clean sheets, fridge, coffee maker, AC, 4 piece bath, clean towels, TV... better beds than one would anticipate. No breakfast included but restaurants are nearby. Location is ideal for accessing the west side of the National Park. Would stay again.

So on our adventure around the Cabot trail we stopped here for the night the only place left in cheticamp that had room for 4 people ... we were in the 'Cottage' at the back of the parking lot to the left. The smell was soo miserable when we first walked in we had to open all the windows and...

The classic motor lodge style motel. We had an outside entrance where we could park our car right out front; handy for us as an older couple. Not the largest of rooms and bathroom but clean and comfortable, which is all we needed because we were only spending the nights there as we explored the Cabot Trail for two days....

Very comfortable beds. This motel is rustic in decor but very resonable in price. The motel is placed well if you are doing the Cabot Trail. It is a great place to go if you are doing the whole trail but want to break it up into two days.

The hosts were gracious, the rooms were clean and comfortable and sunsets amazing. A lovely place to rest on the Cabot Trail and the nearby village had a beautiful Catholic Church with service in French. A delightful stopping place.

My girlfriend and I have both lived in Sydney all our lives and have never done the Cabot Trail. So last weekend the kids were at their aunts for the weekend so we went for our first little trip without the kids. Had a great time UNTIL we decided late at night to get a hotel and stay in Cheticamp....
