We changed our plans on our Cape Breton trip to take advantage of the one sunny day in a series of pouring rain. We lucked out in booking the three bedroom cottage at Maison Fiset. We changed hotels every night on our 8-day trip and with all the planning and prep work we did to find those accommodations, this unexpected...

My husband and I stayed here on a recent trip to Cape Breton Island. We had a lovely room with a balcony. Comfy bed and very clean room. The breakfast was very good with a few choices. Close to Cape Breton Highland National Park. This was one of the nicest places we stayed on our trip to Nova Scotia

We stayed here in July for 2 nights while on a road trip through Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. Our room (on the main floor) was quite adequate and clean. Our breakfasts both mornings were very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Lynn, the manager, was absolutely fantastic! Having never been in that part of the world...

A very friendly place to stay. Lynn was a wealth of information on places to see on Cabot trail. Breakfast delicious and plentiful order choice of hot and cold. We stayed in room 6 which was very small and not conducive to a good nights sleep due to large noisy AC right next to the bed

We were on a road trip, staying a different place each night. The quality of the accommodations were first rate. Excellent trim work, fresh carpeting, and comfortable beds in the rooms. A balcony for each room. And a very attentive staff. Without staying elsewhere, I think I can say this is one of the top lodgings in Cheticamp.

Cheticamp, just south of the park entrance, is strangely desolate. Maison Fiset is historic and doesn't feel that way and neither does the whole village. The manager Lyne is however a gem. She pointed us toward Ceilidh that highlighted our trip from New York. The Doryman Pub & Grill down the road is not to be missed.

My wife and I stayed at Maison Fiset House on our anniversary during a trip around Cape Breton. Our host suprised us with champagne and flowers in our room upon arrival. The B&B is very tastefully decorated and up to date. We stayed in the Cheticamp Suite, it was large and very clean. King bed was very comfortable. Location was...

We stayed in the suite- room 4- it was luxurious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also excellent. There are only 8 rooms so I recommend calling early. Our room had a hot tub, and any other amenity you could desire.

We only spent one night here on our bike trip on the Cabot Trail, but we wish we could have stayed longer. Everyone working at Maison Fiset went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and help us out. The owner even drive us to dinner because the only taxi in town wasn't available, and then she arranged for...
