Clean and modernised rooms with comfortable beds and helpful staff. An up-market motel boasting a lively bar and budget restaurant, this stop-over met our requirements exactly. No, there isn't any air conditioning, but we knew that going in, but there was a TV (not that we switched it on) and coffee/tea making facilities. The view from our room, and as...

Hello Ian. Thanks for the nice review. We're very glad you enjoyed your stay here with us in Iona! Just wanted to let you know that we've located the issue with the water temperature, and we've remedied it. Thanks for the heads-up. Cheers!

Spent three nights at Ion Heights and found the facilities clean, quite and centrally located. Very friendly staff and beautiful views from each balcony. Full restaurant on site and coffee shop for breakfast and lunch. Also, home made chocolate shop at the Inn. Along with small convenient store for beer, cigs and snacks... Great location.

I wanted to really like this place. The view from Iona Heights Inn of Bras d'Or Lake is amazing. My family and I (husband, 2 teenagers plus me) stayed in room 19. First impression when walking into the room was the décor was adorable and looked like it was straight from IKEA, but the room was very warm. There were...

We were really looking forward to this inn based on other reviews, and were extremely disappointed. We knew there was no air conditioning, and it was a hot week, so we were prepared to be a little warm. But what surprised us was that the window in the room only opened about 1 or 2 inches, and there are no...

The Iona Heights inn may not look like much, but it is sure a charming place! The rooms are clean and had a nice beach theme to them. We also had a small porch with a decent view. It was good to have a good WiFi signal, especially since this place is pretty much in the middle of nowhere (there's...

Room was just gorgeous. Felt very comfy and fresh. We had second floor balcony and having our morning coffee with a view was amazing. The liquor store was unfortunately closed before we arrived so we went to the quaint pub attached. We loved it! We had Jillian as our server and she was so great. She made fancy non-alcohlic drinks...

The hotel takes a while to get to but Boy you are in for a visual treat once you get there. Hotel is located on top of a small hill and gives amazing view of the vista. We went for the Room with Ocean view and no regrets doing so. For $84 CAD this place is a steal. Room was...

Stayed here for two nights on our driving trip out East. We were given a room with a balcony overlooking the ocean. The view was amazing, and the sunrise was gorgeous. The room was spacious and clean, and the beds were so comfortable. The service was hands down. Everyone went above and beyond with their East Coast friendly way!

The room design is simultaneously relaxing and energizing -- and your sure to get a pleasant night's sleep. It's crisp and modern but has some very pleasing rustic Nova Scotia elements blended in. My room also had a balcony with an outstanding view. There's a nice coffee shop on the property, with good coffee, a nice breakfast selection, and, it...

Dear Keith. Thanks so much for that very well written review of our Inn. I feel like we were talked about in a well known travel magazine. That was great! Super glad you enjoyed your stay, and know that if you return in the future, our bathrooms are next on the 'To-Do' list. Cheers for now! Dan
