This place has everything, fabulous accommodations, location and best of all the hosts. The food was out of sight. Tremendous assistance with restaurants and locale attractions. They made reservations for us and even joined us for drinks and dinner. Hard to leave.

We chose The Fisherman's Daughter for a weekend getaway to celebrate a special anniversary. The location is perfect - walking distance to all restaurants and shops in Mahone Bay and a short drive to other South Shore destinations. Our first choice for a room was "The Captain's Quarters" but it was previously reserved for the first night, so we chose...

Came upon this B&B by chance. What wonderful hosts. Made us feel so welcomed. What a beautiful way to start our vacation. They are typical of the people of Nova Scotia. Would recommend this B&B for your next trip.

Lisa and Bruce run a very professional B&b. They are lovely hosts and the provision of complimentary Sherry/Port, soft drinks and even toiletries was a revelation. The room was very comfortable and well equipped. As has already been mentioned Lisa's breakfasts are superb, especially the freshly cooked pastries - my wife even got a free cooking lesson!! Highly recommended

We read reviews on most of Mahone Bay's places to stay and our choice of Fisherman's Daughter proved to be a winner. Lisa and Bruce are welcoming and helpful without being intrusive (a quality some innkeepers lack). By the time we left, we felt like we were leaving old friends. Situated between two of the "three churches", the location could...

What a spectacular B&B! The home and property is gorgeous with a lovely view of the Bay. Our room was extremely comfortable with some many extra, thoughtful touches. The innkeepers, Bruce and Lisa, was outstanding hosts and gave extensive recommendations on what to do and see - not only while in the Bay are but also in Halifax (our next...

During a recent road trip to Nova Scotia we decided to stop off in Mahone Bay staying at the Fisherman’s Daughter B&B. From the minute you arrive to the moment you leave Lisa and Bruce Chiasson make you feel like old friends. They help you with your suitcases, show you your room and just incase you’ve forgotten to pack or...

Both hosts are extremely welcoming, warm and helpful. Lisa is a great cook, very attentive. Full breakfasts included great coffee, fresh made baked parties, accompanied unique, tasty main course. We had scrambled eggs with bacon, herbs and veggies on one day, eggs benedict the next and french toast our third day. All served with orange juice and a delightful fruit/yogurt...

Unsurpassed hospitality and cuisine in a warm and cozy heritage home overlooking Mahone Bay, NS. Owners Bruce and Lisa went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. After we accidentally stained their upholstered chair and a pair of our shorts with blueberry, we were put at ease; and not only did they remove the stain from the chair,...

Fisherman's Daughter is a gem of a place. We stayed in the Captain's Quarters on the main floor (no stairs except for the 2 at the front door!). Beautiful new washroom with large walk in shower and rainhead and a separate claw tub. Beautiful heritage home within walking distance of the town centre. Lisa is a gracious hostess and breakfast...
