We stayed in one of the cabins that was fully equipped for accessibility. The bathroom had appropriate grab bars and there was a ramp to the room. The cabin had two bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, and a small sitting room. The rooms were well maintained and...More
We don't normally stay in motels, but choices were lacking in the route along which we were traveling. Our room, while clean, looked a little worn, with a marred countertop on the dresser, but was good for what it was. I did have to kill...More
Clean, comfortable motel and cabins on 54 acres with a large beautiful lake with a dock and canoe. Includes a really excellent hot breakfast. Friendly and informative host. I would definitely stay there again.

Don't know the pet policy. My experience was the best way to communicate with The Sunshine Inn was by phone, 902-254-3135. It is a real small operation several miles out of town run by the couple who own it. I enjoyed my one night stay. The room was very clean, the staff were friendly and I enjoyed the breakfast (at an extra cost). An attractive place but not fancy.
