We only stayed at this lovely situated cottage for one night but it was fantastic. Give me these little cabins over a chain hotel anytime! The cottage itself was immaculate and included wifi. The inside was much bigger than it appeared from the outside. The kitchen and eating area had everything you needed and the living with fireplace was very... More

I love this place! I was in Port Hastings to meet with a customer and I didn't want to stay in one of the usual "econo hotels" I stay in while travelling on business. I'm so glad I made the decision to stay at Chisholms. The cottages are comfortable, clean, and close enough to town to be convenient without feeling... More

We had a short stay here however, loved the time that we did have. These cottages are in a pretty remote location and hence, provides beautiful scenery, peaceful living, and an amazing cottage experience. Cottage: We had a 1-bedroom cottage and the bedroom was large enough and allowed us to put our pack-and-play next to the bed. The living room-kitchen... More

Lovely cabins with a beautiful view of the Strait of Canso. Our unit was 2 bedroom. Fully stocked kitchen which was great to make our breakfasts in room and then pack a picnic for outings. Beds were comfy, although the bedrooms were a little cramped. Very clean. Nice deck with a barbeque. Would definitely recommend.

these lovely cabins are nestled between the shores of St. George's Bay and the Creignish hills. just like being in the highlands of Scotland. The two bedroom cabins have ample room for two couples, or a family of four. Fantastic view, very relaxing. Only drawback is lack of pool or beach on site.

Our one bedroom cottage exceeded our expectations. We stayed here for four nights. It was the perfect location for us to head out from to do our day trips on Cape Breton. We bbq'd on our deck in front of our cottage, enjoyed the view of the Canso Causeway and St. George's Bay, watched the tide (which was mostly out)... More

We felt it was good value for our money. It was raining when we got there, so the place stayed cool with the windows open-may get hot otherwise. It was clean-nice to have kitchen facilities. The owner was pleasant & talkative. some of the wood work could use restaining.

We stayed there only for one nite unfortunately, as this is perfect place to relax after day of activity. Cabins are sitting on top of the hill overlooking the bay (what the view this is). Cabins are very. Oozy, clean and have full kitchen, including BBQ on the deck. You can sit on the chairs outside and enjoy tranquil view, perhaps,... More

My husband I stayed here for one night in February. We were booked for a one bedroom cabin but were upgraded to a two bedroom without asking. That was very nice and very much appreciated because the two bedroom have a propane fireplace, a nice treat on a cold winter night. The cabin was great! Nice furnishings, full bathroom, comfortable... More

We stayed in a one bedroom cabin with bath, living room and kitchen area. Everything was clean and comfortable and in wonderful condition. The kitchen was equipped with enough for any kind of simple cooking- range, oven, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, a grill outside, and enough utensils to use said equipment. We were on a hill which afforded a beautiful... More
