Well coming from England I am well use to train fans. And I will be telling loads to come to Tatamagouche and you will not believe this. Such a great place and the people working here are awesome and can't do enough for you. We did not eat dinner here but had the "Full Canadian" and was very tasty indeed....

It was a blast staying at the Train Station Inn. Although our daughter is a bit past the stage where the trains are the neatest thing ever, it was great to see the look of excitement in her face as we drove up and said that we'd be staying in one of the cabooses. The interesting station house/shop was a...

Last evening on a whim, we ventured to the Train Station Inn for dinner. It was awesome...from the unique experience of eating aboard a dining car to the excellent food, and exceptional customer service. Our dining companions really enjoyed the lobster pot pie and our pesto pasta was really tasty. And we can't forget about the biscuits which are served...

Great overnite stay in a 2br carriage/caboose #9 in Tatamagouche. Satff very good and the meals were very good. Central for visiting the area including Jost vineyard a short drive away. Local market @ the Creamery on Sat mornings, a short walk from the station.

The day after visiting Fat Tony's in Pictou my friends and I ate at the Train Station Inn in Tatamagouche, NS. It was our second visit and just as good as the first time we went. The restaurant is in a real railway car which adds to the fun. We ordered the special of the day. Cold poached salmon with...

Wow. We stayed in caboose number six and were thrilled. There is plenty of room and it was nicely appointed and air conditioned. The bathroom was good and there was also a shower. Such an awesome concept for a hotel. We are train aficionados so this was the perfect place for us. Highly recommend for families and friends.

From the online reservations, to check out, the whole experience could not have been better. The owner and general manager were constantly checking with guests to ensure a pleasant visit. The vans have been refurbished, and it is worth looking at the descriptions and photos on the website. Lunch and dinner are served in the dinning car, and breakfast in...

My husband and I and our kids, 2 and 4 years old, stayed here for one night. The Train Station Inn was exactly as described on the website. Seeing the train cars was so fun for the kids. We are in the dining car and the food was pretty good. We also ate breakfast in the train station Cafe. The...

We brought our six year old grandson to stay here because of his great interest in trains. We were all quite impressed with this property and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our grandson was especially excited to stay overnight in a boxcar! The restaurant in the dining car serves delicious suppers and breakfast was excellent. The gift shop has many treasures....

The Train Station is a fun, educational, totally immersive experience, and a lesson in railway history! Don't just come for the day, stay for the night! If you're travelling with your family, make sure you book a caboose with a cupola, so the kids can climb around and play "train driver". If you are lucky, you will get to meet...
