Place needs to be remodeled has a bad smell and the air conditioner smells like mold place is on a well and septic system it is out to far from city water or sewer systems and the wifi for computer does not work half the time It has a bar fridge but no coffee maker and old chairs that were...

I stayed here with my mother last weekend. It was very comfortable and welcoming. We brought a dog with us and there was a nice big back yard were I was able to walk her. Be aware this is a motel, not a hotel. Some amenities may be missing such as shampoo/body wash and a coffee maker. We brought our...

This place is not in Morrisburg or close to any anemeties. It smells like mold and the water smells like it came from a nearby swamp. "Norman Bates" the owner has zero social skills and the above ground pool is locked and for decoration only. Not family friendly at all! Best advice on this one is to keep on driving.

We recently visited the Riverside Motel while we were in Morrisburg for a weekend fishing tournament and were very pleased with our stay. There is ample parking for boats and outside electrical for charging batteries. Rooms are not fancy, but all of the necessary amenities are there and the rates are quite reasonable. The motel is very well kept and...

I had driven by this motel previously and was impressed with its well kept lawn, flowers, and tranquil appearance. I was not disappointed with my stay. Its rooms are furnished simply, but comfortably, and reminded me of a traditional lodge, rather than a motel. Extra amenities included a microwave and small fridge. As I was travelling with a small dog,...

So we were expecting very little from this location based on previous reviews. First, what was great: it was very clean, beds were pretty comfortable, new tv, fridge and microwave in the room, new chairs, staff was very helpful, even provided extra towels for the kids and very convienient to Upper Canada Village. What was not so great: No phone,...

Just stayed four nights at the Riverside Motel. The room was dated, but clean and in good repair. Loved the windows on both sides of room, making it bright and airy. Mattress was comfortable, 2 nice chairs and a table, microwave and refrigerator in room. Bathroom was small, but clean. All in all, I was extremely satisfied and would definitely...

It's Clean and well kept, the owner obviously makes an effort to keep the property up to date. The rooms are cozy and comfortable. If your heading to Upper Canada Village it's a great place for an overnight stay and it's only 5 minutes from the Village.

We knew this motel would be no frills and that was fine with us. We also had our dogs with us and so this choice seemed great as their website said they were dog friendly. We like Mom and Pop motels, in fact prefer them when we're travelling in Canada as they're convenient and you can park right outside the...

This is a great value hotel if you just need a crash pad. Nothing fancy, the room had 2 beds, Microwave, fridge, TV, and bathroom. No restaurant on site. A very large backyard gives room for the dog to run, the owner's dog is also out there on an electronic fence. A quiet property, away from everything, but close enough...
