I don't usually write reviews but wanted to for this place. It has to be the best value I have come across in all my travels. Sure the room is a bit out dated but it is clean and the beds are comfortable. The restaurant was excellent and the staff was friendly. I stay in hotels 3 nights a week...

On a good note the restaurant was definitely a 3.5-4* but being accused of smoking in our room was a total bomb!!! Maybe they were confused with the pot smokers down the hall halfway to the junk food vendor....much to our surprise we were accused of smoking in our room!!! NOT good thing the wedding was in Kingston

Some people may find this place a bit "dated," but that's one of its charms. There's a welcoming lobby with comfortable armchairs and newspapers to read, a good restaurant and lounge, and very comfortable rooms. The staff are very friendly and personable. In this day of chain motels and sameness, the McIntosh Inn provides a welcome and very comfortable change.

My wife and I were attending the Upper Canada Playhouse and wanted a place for lunch. The Inn was close by so we gave it a try. It was a very welcoming place. It had a varied menu and the service was terrific. We will return.

it is clean and that does count for a lot, but that's about it. Not wanting to be disturbed, I put the sign on my door saying so. Woken up the next morning when housekeeping knocks on my door and tries to come in (if it hadn't been for the extra interior lock they would have). I had left the...

Stayed here for a week while working in the area. Beds were on the firmer side, but overall comfy. Older style and decor. Towels in rooms torn with bleach prints on them. Very small room with bathtub and toilet in it, then outside the door is the sink.

We have now stayed three times since mid Sept at the McIntosh. First was out of necessity, second and third were choice, and knowing the accommodation and food portion of our trip would be stress free :) There is a warmth and friendliness from the moment you speak with Pat or Laurie at the front desk. Restaurant/Bar staff are so...

This Inn is located very close to Upper Canada Village. The Inn is a little old but the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The lobby was decorated for Christmas and has a fireplace. There is a large diningroom as well as a bar where they serve food as well. The staff in all areas of this Inn were very...

We were a family of six staying over and we had booked two rooms. One a family room which was huge and very comfortable and the second room was a double and it was very comfortable too. The inn is spotlessly clean and the staff very friendly and helpful We also had dinner in the onsite restaurant and the menus...

We are a large group (2 adults, 3 children) but the room we were assigned had plenty of space for all of us. The room was equipped with a refrigerator which was handy. The kids really enjoyed the outdoor pool. The beds were a little soft but I slept reasonably well. We had breakfast in the hotel and the breakfast...
