My husband whisked me away to this B&B for a birthday treat. We checked into the Cafe Latte room, bought a nice wine next door, popped it into the available fridge and went for a stroll through a nearby park. Later we enjoyed chilled wine on their shaded porch before heading off to our dinner spot, reserved by Joanne. The beds and bedding are comfortable. Wifi worked great. The room was meticulously clean and had everything we needed. Love the old claw foot tub in the bathroom. A really great B&B until we experienced breakfast on the porch.
It started with an assorted cheese plate and Joanne's homemade fig jam, pleasingly delicious yogurt or fruit, very good coffee and tea, and eggs Benedict with homemade hollandaise sauce. Wow! Presentation was beautiful throughout, service was friendly and the quality of the food excellent. It had the homemade touches I am always looking for, but rarely find. Their breakfast really hits this place out of the park!

I cannot really comment on the rooms but the brunch and the restaurant were amazing. The sort of clean, amicable interior, well managed environment combined with hearty absolutely homemade wholesome real food.
I hate to be sexist but for some reason, I am getting convinced that a restaurent managed and run by a woman has a better success rate. The dishes were complete in a sense that you'd have all you'd wished for your meal, details are not overlooked and that's the kind of precision a woman perfects.

Very nice to receive positive compliments by the customers of the restaurant, even though this site is for the Bed and Breakfast , he pleases us to read you again. Thank you, hope to see you again Très agréable de recevoir des compliments positifs par la clientèle du resto sur ce site, car je n'ai pas de site tripadvisor pour le resto , juste pour le gîte, cela nous fait toujours plaisir de vous lire. Au plaisir de vous revoir chez nous.

We stayed "Aux douceurs du passant" for one night and had the most pleasant experience. The rooms were charming with their rustic decor, comfortable and clean. The host were the nicest people, welcoming us warmly and making us feel at home immediately. But the best was the incredible (included) breakfast!! Oh my, I would go back just for the little cheese platter, giving you a test of local Montebello cheeses, with this delicious fig and hazelnut spread.. Omnomnom! They offered a lot of home made goods in their menu and multiples options for breakfast. I would strongly recommend anyone to go there!

We have just come back from an overnight stay at Les douceurs du passant in Montebello and couldn't be happier. We had planned a cycling trip in the Petite-Nation area with friends who were meeting us from Montreal. Montebello was the perfect location, half-way between Gatineau and Montreal and Les douceurs du passant was the perfect B&B. The hosts, Johanne and Jacques are welcoming and made us feel at home immediately. Given our rooms weren't ready when we arrived, we decided to go on our cycling trip and come back at the end of the afternoon. When we got back to the B&B our rooms were ready and cool -- it was a very hot day. Johanne showed us around and even made a reservation at a very nice local restaurant for us. She also invited us on the veranda; letting us know that we were welcome to enjoy our cocktails there before going out for dinner.
Our room, the Caffè Latte, was comfortable and very nicely decorated. Our friends' room, the Espresso, was also very nice. Everything was lovely.
Breakfast the next morning, which was included with our stay, was absolutely wonderful. A cheese platter made of local cheeses and homemade compote, eggs benedict (there is a wide selection) and a lovely fruit salad for dessert. All topped with specialty coffee and juice. We ate outside on the veranda given the beautiful weather.
This B&B is cyclist friendly with the opportunity to lock up bikes in the shed in the back at night. Also, because they were very busy that Sunday, we were able to depart later than 1 pm from our room which was wonderful for us, as it enabled us to bike longer Sunday.
This B&B offers great value for money. We will go back.

We stayed for 2 nights with a small child and thoroughly enjoyed it.

It is located right in the heart of montebello (its small and you can walk from one end to the other in 30mins).

The breakfast was amazing. Beds were very comfy and everything is very neat and clean. The host is very helpful and lovely and we felt right at home.

We strongly recommend this stay!

These people are the nicest couple. They treated us like family. It was kind of them to even take us to stay there over Christmas. We didn't have to worry about anything and she even checked around to see which restaurants would be open for us. Her food is to die for too! The place is gorgeous. Reminds me of one we stayed at in Quebec City (except the Quebec City one couldn't compare with this food :). I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. It was so relaxing. Loved the claw foot bath tub too.

Once we arrived, the host has welcomed us with the keys on hand. The hosts were extremely warm, welcoming and sweet.
The room although small was comfortable for two people with their luggage. Bathroom was clean and tide.
The breakfast was a surprise, as we were eating for almost an hour: we started with a fruit salad or yogurt, followed by a collection of cheese and finished with pancakes or egg Benedict - everything was delicious.
There is free parking on the street in front of the hotel.
I can not recommend this B&B enough!

We stayed one night, this B&B is in a great location, host are very friendly, breakfast was amazing and we were served on the porch on a beautiful morning. The only big disappointment was our room. I booked a superior queen, the room we got was a very small room, off the kitchen/ dining room and you entered the room through your bathroom. Very uncomfortable! This room is not shown in any pictures. I'm not sure what happened ,but I don't feel we got what we paid for. I would give this 5stars if we had a different room. Make sure to ask about room when booking, I booked through booking.com next time I'd call owners personally.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Aux Douceurs Du Passant. The hosts were extremely welcoming, warm and sweet. The room was very well kept and clean. The food was the best part - especially the benedict, extremely tasty! All the hot spots were within minutes of walking and Parc Omega was only a 5 minute drive away. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and could not recommend this B&B enough!

We were welcomed by the nice owner who took us to our room and showed everything. Very classic old town. It looks older than any place you see in France. Quebec is a distant memory to what is considered Europe. Interesting! The whole town has similar houses to this. Nice walks, little sea-side promenade, an animal park are th things you can do. We had a nice breakfast the next morning. It was a very positive experience.
