My son (16) and I booked this lovely B&B to spend 5 days in November away from boarding school and we really enjoyed this exceptional place which was absolutely ideal for us. There's a lot you can do and see in and around Montebello!
We had a very warm welcome by our hosts (Richard, Linda and son Frédéric) and really enjoyed our rich and tasty breakfast (croissants, fresh fruit such as strawberries, grapes, melon, sliced apple, mandarine, a selection of bread specialities, warm and cold drinks of your choice, in addition a daily changing warm dish, e.g. omelette with potatoes and cheese or pancakes, different kinds of cheese, walnuts, maple butter, different kinds of jam, etc.), all freshly served by passionate cook Richard. Though my French is rather weak, we got along quite well and communication was no problem at all. I could even brush up my rusty language skills and we learned a lot about the local history.
We had the loft room (Jumelles) which comprised three (!) very comfortable Queen size beds in two separated compartments. Everything was very clean and cosy in this charming, time-honoured building.
We are sure to find an opportunity to return to this awesome place in the near future.
Merci beaucoup et bonne chance à Frédédric, Linda & Richard!

Au Parfum des Saisons was the final stop for my husband and I on a two-week driving holiday and we could not have chosen a better way to end our trip. This is a lovely, spacious home, very clean and nicely appointed, with very warm and accommodating hosts. While the bathrom is shared, it was never an issue and the fact that we had access to the kitchen and the lovely balcony made it very comfortable and relaxed. Language was not an issue - Linda's broken English and our high school French worked fine. And the breakfast - I cannot do it justice. Richard is a retired chef and obviously enjoys his work. The meal was spectacular - fresh fruit arranged with care and creativity; fresh preserves to accompany a selection of breads and croissants; yogurt, cheese and nuts; and our choice of eggs, bacon, sausage and ham. I hope we find a reason to visit again - it was truly delightful.

This inn has one of the most amazing breakfasts we have seen in our travels in Canada. Fruit cups, cheeses, bread, jams, spreads, and so much more! Alternating day hot egg, bacon, tomato, and potato breakfast but still with the amazing fruit, bread, and cheese. Please be sure to note that the bathroom is shared. That wasn't a problem for us as we were the only guests. The location is an easy drive from town. The house is well-maintained and the family are very kind. The Florentine room was very nice but please be aware that the bed is a double.
