We had an excellent stay at the property the front desk lady was awesome she was so friendly and helpful the only thing I would have to say negative about our stay was the continental breakfast was really bad they didn't even have hot water for tea or tea bags And not enough food to supply everybody that was staying there that day.
THIS HOTEL SCAMMED OUR CREDIT CARD FOR $400 ON OUR WEDDING DAY!!! We booked rooms for my family for our wedding in Rigaud. Everyone paid for their own rooms but they charged our card too, even though we did not stay there. We asked about it the next day in person, they lied and said it was just a hold from the reservation and it would come off in a week. It did not!!! Then they lied when we called again and said we were “no shows”. Wyndham Resorts customer service is appalling too, had to chase people down for a response for the next 2 month only to be told that they don’t care, it’s a chain so they aren’t responsible for what that owner/operators do to the customers. We found out after the wedding they also scammed our best man who booked his room from Scotland, put him down for the wrong dates a month earlier and charged him for 2 nights no shows. Just like us, no one even called him on the first night of “no show”, they just took the money off the card and said nothing. They are running a racket with peoples credit cards, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CARD NUMBER Also super filthy rooms from what my guests told me. You’d be better off sleeping in your car than stay here.…
We reserved four rooms for guests coming out of town for our wedding in August. We used our credit card to make the booking but were clear from the start that our guests were paying for their own rooms. We called before check-in that day to confirm our guest would be arriving on time and that all rooms were to be paid by for by the guests. We were assured by the clerk that there were 4 rooms booked and they would be charged individually to the guests. The day after our wedding, we noticed on our VISA we were charged for one of the rooms for 2 nights. We went to the front desk immediately and were assured that it was a temporary hold from the initial reservation, and that it would disappear in a week, which it did not. We called to follow up on the charges a few weeks later - first we were told that they had no record of us ever being charged so we said we would be contacting VISA. We got a call back later saying that they (finally) found the charges on our card but it was for a NO SHOW. We booked 4 rooms and all four rooms were paid for. We have all the receipts. We know for a fact that no rooms went empty in the hotel that night as other wedding guests seeking a room those nights were told it was completely booked. My question is: if we had been a "no show" for another room reserved 2 nights, why didn't anyone bother to call us? To see if we would be coming the second night? No one contacted us, instead they just quietly slipped 2 hotel rooms onto our VISA without any notice. We tried Wyndham Customer Service; the first girl was supposed to get back to me and never did. The next lady didn't seem to understand what was going on - at first, she said my brother had also booked another room online but that is NOT TRUE and when I inquired for more info on this second booking it was not his name or even the right date. She then inferred that it must have been my fault, and told me that without an email reservation confirmation (which they failed to provide me) that I basically have no proof. Either the people at Wyndham have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what they are doing, or they are CON ARTISTS ripping off their customers. Either way do yourself a favour and AVOID THIS PLACE. My wedding guest also mentioned the rooms were not clean. Gross hotel and shady business practices. - 5 stars.…
the room was clean and the employee at the front desk was very nice but the property needs some improvment. the breakfast is not worth mentionning in the ad as it is not really a breakfast... it was very basic!
Ordinary roadside hotel with ordinary breakfast. The place felt a little odd, although I'm not 100% why that is. The rate felt quite high for the type of hotel and small town location, even with inflation.
The hotel appears to be a little older but the rooms were clean and well maintained. There was a free continental breakfast included which ups the value. The service at both check in and checkout was great. Good location.
Stayed here last Saturday night when in the area for a wedding. We were able to get an early check-in which was great as we then didn’t need to drive for over 2 hours in our wedding clothes. Room was clean and had everything we needed. We did not experience the overpowering smell of air freshener that other reviewers mentioned. The cold continental breakfast was as expected and was filling enough. If in the area again I would not hesitate to stay here again.
There wasn't anything specifically wrong with the place... but it's old, dark and dingy. It needs fresh paint, new caulking around the tubs and less air freshener. The pillows are tiny. I think it's time for a refresh of this building
Comfortable beds, clean rooms, friendly staff. Breakfast was ok for continental. Pet friendly rooms, close to restaurants and stores. Dog park close by. My only negative comment will be about the air freshener. Way too much used, kind of gross to smell it non stop. Less is more.
All in all the staff were fantastic, except the gentleman that checked us out. The rooms were very clean and tidy. Nice, hot shower Excellent selection and service with the Free Continental Breakfast and the assistance from the staff member was A+
