I visited RLP with a group of women specifically for the spiritual aspects of this beautiful sanctuary and it did not disappoint. The pescatarian fare (otherwise organic) was delicious and fresh. Staff are very friendly and go the extra mile to please guests. The accommodations are authentically styled casitas are cozy and comfortable featuring lots of handpainted tiles. The grounds...

I spent the first two weeks of February at Rancho La Puerta - what an amazing place! It was my first time at the Ranch. I spent the first few days figuring everything out and the first week fitting in everything I possibly could. The second week I slowed down a little bit and took in more of the beauty...

What a fun experience to escape for a day. I met the bus at Mission Bay Park, boarded and was met by a friendly employee of Rancho La Puerta. I was given bottled water and trail mix. After all boarded, we left for a Tecate, Rancho La Puerta. A comfortable ride. We each received an informational packet of the day's...

The accommodations are tastefully beautiful, clean, and extremely comfortable. There are several pools and areas to...

This was my first visit to rancho la puerta. Four of us went to experience the wellness center after we had heard do much about it from others. The connection at the San diego airport to the bus was easy. Our packet was waiting for us along with the friendly greeter. The drive to rancho la Puerta was also easy...

I am writing from the Ranch and it is completely full. It is full because when people come here once it is rare that they do not come again-- a lot. Why? First it is beautiful. The mountain hikes are panoramic, the staff is exceptional, the array of work out choices is unparalleled, the food is plentiful and delicious and...

If you like to hike and exercise in an idyllic space this may be for you. Not as fancy as the other spas around, Rancho la Puerta is a much better value for your money. Mostly vegetarian, the food is tasty with everything organic and grown locally. Staff are lovely and appear to enjoy working at the Ranch. Many guests...

Waking up to a briskly burning fire in the fireplace, and then having breakfast delivered to your very own villa - magical - and a great daily ritual. Each day is filled with classes to suit anyone from Yoga to Tennis to Zumba and even African Dance. You name it - they have it. Even aerobic drumming, which went by...
