Place is very deteriorated, chairs were very fragile, sofa was missing a cushion, toilet was broken and restroom sink broken, fridge was missing I was told that they would look into it but never got back to me. Place has a small fan NO A.C. The outdoor patio appeared to have been abandoned and pool very dirty, service was terrible,...

We are laughing at some of the whiny reviews here. First time in Mexico? Don't go if you expect this place to be fancy or spotless clean. We've never had a bad room in all the years we've been staying here. Sometimes there are minor issues, like a cracked or uneven sink, or a tear in the shower curtain, but...

I reserved a room over the internet for January. I should have know to bring my own firewood or heater The room was muy frio and then the manager told me I had to buy firewood for 80 persos. The facilities were all shut down and the guests out-numbered the staff--there were just 4 of us and 12 staff. This...

It was a really nice reception. All workers are super helpful and friendly. The accommodations are okay, no to fancy but good enough. Nice hot water. Price is Good. It has a charming restaurant. Nice play courts. Rooms are spacious. The best part is "not signal" is almost 100% internet signal free, which helps to get a good resting and...

I wrote another review with the same title. I stayed here again in April 2014. Some good news is that there are no ATVs anymore. This region has completely changed in the past five years and there are a lot of recreation facilities and accomodations of all types (including huts). Get off the toll road/motorway at El Hongo. It might...

I camped (pitched a tent) here in April 2008 during a return trip from Rocky Point to Tijuana. It was great to find a campground in this area (I had Googled for campgrounds but couldn't find any on the Mexican side of the border). I found it by pure chance seeing a huge banner (for a different campground) beside Carretera...

Attended my wife's family reunion. Place is just right for this type of event. You can book a block of rooms where you share private get together area with your own BBQ, etc. In all honesty for a single family/couple I do not recommend the place as it does not have the services for that type of trip. Again, for...

We went to this place for a family trip, when we arrived we saw the beautiful landscape and excellent weather. We thought we were in for something extraordinary, well were we're wrong. We pretty much arrived there with no one to greet us or show us to our rooms, we had supposedly reserved our rooms and were told they would...

We just recently had our family reunion at this place. And for the location and price, it's ok. We had just about 170 people and we had a blast. The place was mostly for us, with the rooms and the campsites taken up. There is power at the campsites, so it was neat to see the lights on over there,...

“Go somewhere else--this place sucks!”

“As a group, book the main suite plus the amount of rooms you need for your family reunion. The main suite has a fireplace, equiped kitchen, etc and they set a BBQ in the patio. So you can use the suite's kitchen for the cooking, etc and the family hangs out in the patio area which is basically a private area for your family.”
