We booked a block of 5 rooms at Hacienda Guadalupe for a birthday celebration weekend with 10 guests, and it was the perfect place for our weekend. The manager was so helpful in the booking process, offered us a great rate and assisted us in arranging a special wine tasting with the owner of the onsite winery. Excellent customer service and a surprise bottle of wine with a happy birthday note waiting for us in our room. The location is perfect, views are beautiful, rooms are sparkling clean and very comfortable, and the restaurant is delicious - we had a dinner and our breakfasts there. I highly recommend Hacienda Guadalupe for a stay and/or a meal next time you visit the Valle!

Backstory: I live in Southern California and was looking for a destination wedding. Due to Covid and the groom's family drama we had already lost deposits at two other destination wedding venues. So I felt pretty low when it came to planning a wedding.

I had no idea that the Valle de Guadalupe existed until my friend told me to look into that area where it would still be a destination wedding but people could drive if needed. The Valle had something for everyone and their budgets. After looking at the different venues via Google Search, Hacienda Guadalupe (HG) stood out as it was small and intimate BUT could hold a large group of people if needed. My husband and I went to scope out the place in September of 2021. It was fantastic. Paulina, the wedding event's coordinator, was wonderful! She gave us a tour of the entire place and really helped us picture our wedding reception and ceremony. On that same
day, we signed a contract to have the wedding there, on a Tuesday!

In order to have the wedding at HG, we agreed to rent out all 16 rooms. Yes! Absolutely. This is a necessity. It was wonderful being able to have the whole place to ourselves as I had people traveling from New York, Washington State, Chihuahua, etc. We also had such a large group that we ended up with a three day wedding with lots and lots of food being served. HG and Paulina definitely made our wedding feel personal and not a cookie cutter thing. Paulina went out of her way to find us a DJ, a shaman, a photographer, makeup artists, a caterer (they were from the hotel restaurants), and decorator that worked well with our theme, budget, and HG. The staff at HG were exceptional as well. Senor Omar went out of his way to make sure our items were secured to the gazebo (arbor?) and the Italian lights. The receptionist and bell boy were wonderful helping us with guests who were arriving late or were too elderly to care for their luggage. Also thank you to the staff for caring for my own grandmother! After two or three days of walking up and down the stairs she required assistance getting to Adelano and HG's restaurant. The staff delivered! HG staff went above and beyond to meet the needs of my family and I am forever grateful.

I forgot to mention the food. It's excellent. Everything was wonderful. The catering staff worked with us regarding the flavors we were looking for.

My wife and I only have raving reviews for the Hacienda Guadalupe. We originally planned to have our wedding in 2020, but to do the pandemic things had to change. Hacienda really is an amazing family business as they treated us just so. With this unprecedented global pandemic, they constantly kept open communication with us, honored our original rates, and gave us our dream wedding. Our coordinator, Paulina, was so kind and went above and beyond communicating endlessly with us, day and night for months on end to ensure every detail we wanted was addressed and taken care of. Our other coordinator/MC, Sahian, was equally as important as we received many comments on how well organized and well run the reception went. We ran behind schedule because of our own mistakes but Paulina and Sahian seamlessly got us back on schedule without any of our guests even knowing. Their recommended vendors, from the florists, table settings, and stylists all delivered perfectly and we couldn’t be more pleased with how beautiful it all came out. The Hacienda itself was gorgeous and already had signs of Spring with early blooms and green filling the vineyard. If you get a chance to book all the rooms in the hotel with your friends and family…DO IT! It was such a magnificent feeling to have their private and beautiful hotel all to yourselves to enjoy each other’s company and the tranquility the valle offers. The food was delicious from the teatime snacks, wedding courses, and next day breakfast, literally all our guests gave us comments how great all the food and drinks were. After two years and two date changes, there is nothing my wife and I would have changed, quite simply it was the wedding we were really dreaming for and we cannot thank the Hacienda and their staff for making it all happen. Thank you! We cannot wait to visit again soon!

I came to Guadalupe Valley with my boyfriend for a long weekend and wasn’t sure what to expect. And wow we were blown away! The property itself was beautiful, grape vines everywhere, a beautiful pool/hot tub area and a fountain with a view of the valley in the background. The room was very spacious and the beds were comfortable. The best part about the room was the view and the patio overlooking the view.

The service was perfect, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. And not all the staff can speak perfect English, but it was easy to communicate with everyone, and I cannot express just how friendly every staff member was. This hotel had everything we needed. There are two restaurants on site, one that is open for breakfast/lunch, and closes around 5pm and another that is open for dinner and opens around 5-6pm. The dinner restaurant on site Aledano, is newer and the Chef is incredible, he came to speak with us and make recommendations and when I told him I was vegetarian he prepared the Orzo dish without meat and honestly, it was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. There is also a beautiful winery on site with wonderful wine. Everything about this hotel is perfect. I would recommend it more for couples given how romantic is can be but would be great alone or with friends as well! I cannot wait to go back and visit!

I really don't like giving this kind of review, especially when the facilities and staff were very nice. However, be advised that although the nightly rate is quoted in dollars, the amount is converted to pesos at checkout at an arbitrary rate that is not reflective of market conditions. Whether you are Mexican or someone from abroad, you end up paying more than you should have. This is an unpleasant surprise and the last impression I have of the property. I would recommend quoting rates in pesos to be transparent to your customers.

I don’t usually write long reviews but I enjoyed my time here!

My husband and I got married here in November 2022 and customer service is top tier! Paulina was my wedding planner. She guided me through the whole process. I really wanted a wedding venue where they could take care of everything (food, open bar, rehearsal dinner, vendor recommendations) PLUS my immediate family could stay in the boutique hotel. 10/10.

On top of all that they have a winery, it’s a family owned business.

Where do we start... My wife and I could not have chosen a more beautiful place to have the wedding of our dreams, from the first day we stayed at "Hacienda Guadalupe" and woke up to the gorgeous property and views we knew we had found our wedding destination of our dreams. We first met with Paulina (our in house wedding coordinator) and Gabi (owner) we felt like we were in the best of hands. Everything from the planning of every detail for our destination wedding was taken with the upmost importance. The day of our wedding we felt so stress free knowing that every aspect was in order, even when my wife noticed something she did not like Paulina and her team resolved it right away, our food was reception food was on point our guests loved it, I cannot say it any better than Hacienda's Staff was attentive to our every need not just on our wedding day but in welcoming our guests and making everyone feel like they were at home. A big THANK YOU!! to Paulina, Gabi and the entire Hacienda Guadalupe staff for making our forever day the most amazing day ever. If there is ever a place to have your dream wedding in Valle De Guadalupe "Hacienda Guadalupe" is the place.

The hotel is clean and is located in a convenient location to go wine tasting. They have a small bar which makes excellent mixed drinks. Their restaurant was outstanding for breakfast, I would say it was the best breakfast I have had in a long time. The staff is friendly and the rooms were clean and my wife even checked the brand of mattress they used due to she said it was such a comfortable bed.

Even if you don't stay at the hotel I would check out their restaurant for breakfast.

You don't say how old they are so it's hard to help you. If they are small you 3 can share a king bed if there's no room with 2 queen beds OR ask for an extra kid bed. Rooms are big

Tripadvisor sent me an email asking if I'd like to reply to this comment. So for no other reason I'm going to tell you, pick up the phone, they speak English. Alright, now that I've said that, I'm going to head over to Yelp and ask my favorite restaurant if they have spots open tonight on the review page. Good luck!
