A hotel that has good access for mobility in the surroundings of the huasteca and 15 min away from Ciudad Valles. Thermal waters inside the hotel and free for guests. No TV, phone and WiFi in the rooms just in the reception.

Treat value customers poor twice! We came here last night and they told us we don't have reservation and required us to pay. We refuse pay because we already paid it from online and finally let us sleep here but found disgust smelly room, outdated bathroom, old tube and room and bad huge molds! Wow then next morning.. Know what?...

Stayed here in 2005. It was great. In 2015 the interior needs a refresh, without question. Even so, the place is worth it. Hot springs, several hundred acres of eco-preserve, an interesting part of Mexico to explore without gringos. Huasteca culture. The grounds and exterior are beautiful. Great birding. Cave at rear (no signs) hosts flocks of parrots by day...

I've read most of the reviews lambasting this old hotel. I have stayed here dozens of times since the 1990's and accept it for what it is and enjoy my stays here. This is not a 5-star American-tourist oriented hotel. Regardless of the official star rating, the hotel operates somewhere between 3 and 4 stars, depending on the current management....

As a hotel I'd rate it 1!, I read a review saying that the restaurant had good prices and was excited about this, the restaurant is one of the most expensive I went to in SLP!, food is just okay, The hotel is...

We stayed at Hotel Spa Taninul for two nights, using it as a base to explore other places by car in the Huasteca Potosina. We had breakfast in the hotel's restaurant both mornings, juice, fruit, coffee (with refills!), eggs, tortillas and bread. It was a good deal for about $100 pesos. Both evenings we enjoyed the thermal pool, a massage...

Great Great Great people. Could not do enough to help us! I wish we had stayed there 30 or 50 years ago. You can see, immediately, that this was once an awesome and beautiful place. You will also see that it is old and run down and it's going to be a Norwegian Cruise Ship (which is a different story...

The Hotel itself its by far one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed at, most pictures don't do it justice. Service is nice, place is clean and everyone is friendly. One thing, it's 16km away from the city, and the only way out without a car is by Cab ($150 pesos each way), which is not that big...

This is a very old and basic hotel. The room has air conditioner but no tv. Come here if you want to enjoy nature and forget about technology and comforts of a big city. This has a natural pool with warm sulfur water and a normal pool. It has a restaurant a shop and a spa too. This part of...
