A group of 4 adults, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay for 2 nights in the Girasol and Bugambilia rooms. Spacious and comfortable, the rooms have the feel of a huge hacienda. They open onto a delightful courtyard with small pool, water feature and lush greenery. The recliners in this area are super comfortable and easy to move. Coffee and small...

A group of 5 couples, we shared 5 of the 7 charming B/B courtyard rooms. All rooms were v. well appointed w/ much space, King bed or 2 doubles, a working fireplace, fridge in some, large complete washroom facilities. It has been over two years since we had the joy of returning to the colonial town of Alamos, Mexico, and we are SO GLAD we did. We brought our three young children with us, and were fortunate to stay in Casa Tacubabya. It is the coziest, most friendly, and charming hotel, that happily invites both children and pets. From...

We had such a delightful six night stay in Alamos. Posada Tacubaya is a wonderful little place to stay. The room was lovely, the pool and grounds were so relaxing, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Alamos is a great little town to visit, though a little difficult to get to unless you have a plane or drive...

We recently stopped here on our way back from the US from our home in Mexico. The place is a gem. It starts with the fact they we have a plane and this town has a GREAT airport. We were picked up at the airport by a very nice man in the hotel van. He was very helpful. When we...

Posada is beautifly decorated and the food is great. Loved the town and the home tours. Wine is delicious and staff very accomodating. The selection in the gift shops is excellent. I'll stay here again when I return.

This is a great place to relax and enjoy the peaceful gardens and the sounds of the fountain water flowing in to the pool. Spa services available. Rooms are clean and well appointed with local furnishings. Quiet. Free internet in the room. Toured other hotels in Alamos and this one along with its sister hotel (Hacienda de Los Santos) were...

On a previous visit to Alamos we had a very enjoyable lunch at Los Santos and enjoyed the grounds but could not afford to stay. Thanks so much for adding the B&B. The manager, Michael, was most helpful and informative. He said additional remodeling is planned to provide even better access to the main grounds.

“The Boganvilla room in the corner had lots of street noise. It also lacked the tub and larger bathroom than the room facing it to its left. Just 4 wire hangers provided for two of us.”

“All the rooms are great. If staying over New Year's ask for one off the street. There are only 6 rooms, we stayed in Girasole. It was like staying in a private home.”

“Rooms 'Bugambilias', 'Amapola' and 'Gerbera' are on a cobbled street and the traffic noise is quite disruptive. I would request a room 'Alcatraz' or 'Girasol' maybe, that is further from street noise. The sound of trucks outside our window in Amapola woke us. Weekends would be quieter.”
