This hotel was originally a convent and some of the rooms indicate such as the one we were in. Very very small with almost no room to put luggage/items, no TV's, or real comfort to our room. While the colonial town of Alamos is quaint we could not understand why townspeople had to blast their music in passing cars most...

We stayed one night. Encantada is one of three colonial hotels part of Casa de los Tesoros. We had room #8. The rooms and bathroom are simple and modest. Okay for one night. There is a/c but you need to ask for the remote control to turn it on, which was no big deal. The room had a skylight and...

Group tour and we all stayed at different hotels owned by Casa Tesoros. Our room was at the Encantada. Close to the street. High ceilings with a fan. Very rustic and old. Door latched with a nail. Shower was adequate and we each had one towel. Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed.Had our meals at the main hotel...

Went to the restaurant and tequila bar at Casa de los Tesoros. An absolutely amazing property. Incredible grounds, well maintained and, at night, illuminated like a world class property. Speaking of world class the restaurant and Tequila bar were absolutely amazing...coming from a foodie. While the menu was limited all of our dishes were 5-star as was the service. We...

Stayed here two nights, an old convent, lovely grounds, but my room was filthy, dark, old, and terrible bathroom. I guess there's no where else to stay in this town. No heat, no window, given no extra blankets, one towel for two of us, and no phone, no clock, no way to get any help after dark. If you had...

Soooo.... while the city was was OK, I was ready to check-out about as soon as I checked in. The tile around the shower was broken and falling off the wall and the $1.00 store shower curtain and rings didn't enhance the ambiance, the "lamps" on the wall were in bad shape. There was no TV, and WiFi was not...

I agree with other reviews in that this property definitely has rustic charm. The walkways are beautiful with old paintings and the architecture is eye-pleasing as well. I also agree with other reviews that the amenities were lacking. Both our room and our friends' room needed some extra cleaning in the bathrooms. I also experienced difficulty with the showerhead and...

If you stay in a 300 year old building, you expect quirks. We knew that in Mexico you almost always have to put anything you didn't eat in the trash basket, but this was the worst shower of our week-long trip. The shower head emitted very low volume and that volume came out in a very fine spray at odd...

Stayed here & knew it was a former convent. Rooms are basic but the place is historical & not expecting modern. Restaurant we had our dinner & breakfast was very good. As I was with a group. For a group meal I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. The ambiance was nice. Had free wiifii in lobby! Nice surprise.

We stayed here as part of our Copper Canyon tour the second week of September. The hotel is an old nunnery and retains much of the original architecture and style. Each room is different, some very small and some very large. There are only about 14-15 rooms (nor sure of exact number). Our room was located toward the back of...
