A quiet location, beautiful villa and the bonus of turtles during turtle season. The 3 bedroom unit in room 202 was exceptional. Each bedroom has their own bathroom. Plenty of space here - full kitchen, large living room, dining area, huge water view patio with table and plenty of seats including 2 swings. The 3rd bedroom also has its own kitchen and dining area but limited closet space because owners are allowed to lock up their belongings in the closets. Our daily walks to Akumal Bay for the ATM is not as fun as you may think. It is hot, very humid and the sand makes it tough to walk. I told my husband, reviewers say it is 10-15 mins but we clocked it at 20 mins., even 25 mins. laden with mucho groceries;-) Maybe the 10-15 mins is for the very fit or people with long…

Hola, am very sorry to read your mariachi experience. Please note that this type of event does not usually occur and that the repitive guest who contracted the mariachi service to celebrate birthday was warned that next time the mariachis will not be permitted on premises. Our apologies for the inconvenience it caused you and your guests. Thank you for your other comments, dutifully noted. Saludos.

Very nice villas! Super quiet and very relaxing. The food was very good, it includes a continental breakfast and the staff was really nice and very helpful! I would totally recommend it to couples or even a family.

We had room 101-A early in the week in early August. There’s a door that connects to 101 but we didn’t hear anything from the neighbours, so at least for us it wasn’t an issue. Pros : - Great sleep 3 nights is a row. Huge bed. - The grounds are on the small side but are quite nice. - Very clean. Room was spacious, well kept, full kitchen, free jugs of potable water. - Wifi ! After having dealt with lacklustre wifi for the better part of a week across the Yucatan it was nice to finally be able to access the net in our room, on the grounds and at decent SPEED ! - The restaurant. It’s situated on the roof of the hotel. The included breakfasts are rather simple but they did the job as far as I was concerned (pancakes, toast, French-toast, cereal, fruit, and occasionally…

We stayed for 2 nights after a traveling around the Yucatan peninsula. A great way to end the trip. The facilities are tastefully decorated, comfortable and take advantage of the natural beauty of the area. We enjoyed walking on the beach and walking around all of the marked turtle nests. A continental breakfast was included in the open air restaurant overlooking the water. We ate dinner one night at the restaurant. The food was good but we were invaded by mosquitos and ended up taking the food down to our condo. The staff said it was highly unusual to have the mosquito problem. Since we didn't have any other problems with mosquitos while we were there, I tend to believe them.

If you are not into crowds or resorts, this hotel is nice yet small and located right on a beach where sea turtles nest. We brought our large family and enjoyed the very spacious 3 bedroom suite. The ocean view and lawn/pool space outside our room was delightful. Every night we watched in awe as enormous turtles came out of the ocean and dug huge holes. We stayed one other night in a more expensive hotel in Cancun but we much preferred this one because of the privacy and ample space.

The view from our 2nd floor one bedroom villa took our breath away when we arrived. We had a gorgeous view and spent most of our time chilling on the huge balcony in our hammock chairs. The villa was spacious and very clean. We didn't take full advantage of the fully equipped kitchen but it was still handy to have the fridge. The property is well kept and very quiet. If you're looking for bars and parties this is not the place for you. There is a quaint little restaurant on the 3rd floor...open to the beautiful ocean breezes. You can also walk up the beach to the village of Akumal for more restaurant choices. Loved our stay!

Very nice little place on the Riviera Maya to just kick back and relax! We stayed at the Villa de Rosa right on the beach and found the view from the balcony to be breathtaking. Our friends were here to go diving and we were here just to hang out, but we all had a blast. The girl who worked the bar was very nice and helped us enjoy our stay by providing good local information. We would definitely love to come back! :)

We spent 6 nights in a 2 bedroom, ground level, ocean view room. Our patio overlooked the pool, so we could sit in the shade and watch our kids splash around and play with the other kids who were staying at the resort. The beach is a bit rocky, but our kids loved the tidal pools, and could still play in the water when wearing water shoes. Resort is small enough to receive nice, personalized service, and you will see the same employees each day. The included buffet breakfast is not outstanding, but he food available at lunch and dinner is good. A easy 10 minute walk down the beach takes you to Akumal Beach, where there is great snorkeling and a few restaurants and shops. We LOVED Turtle Bay Cafe and La Lunita. Already planning a return tri!

This was my family's fourth time on the Mayan Riviera, and this is the first place we've stayed that I've really felt I'd want to go back to. The property is about 24 apartments on three levels (one level being sous-sol). The apartments on the upper two levels are spacious and bright with beautiful views of the garden and ocean. Ground level units have spacious verandas occasionally visited by the resident iguanas. Second story units have easy access to the pool, garden and ocean via staircases. Our unit was a two-bedroom, both with en-suite bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped - the only thing I missed was a kettle, I had to use a pot to boil water. Beware the pots in the gas stove: I burned my palm on a pot handle - you MUST use a pot holder. Also, bring your own tea…
