We arrived in the evening and Marcia was still waiting for us, we felt like arriving home with the nice reception. The room was great, with all things we could think to enjoy being close to the beach. After being travelling all around, we arrived...More

Thank you for mentioning the low exterior lights. Only two weeks ago we received access to public electricity, but we plan on keeping the exterior light low so you can continue to see stars and to minimize confusion for Turtles. Most of the time we...More

My first visit = 2004. I've been coming back ever since when I want to enjoy the beautiful white beach solitude, enjoy a swim in the clear, warm water, relax in my porch's hammock, and marvel at the delicious meals their kitchen creates (no extra...More
I feel a little guilty that it's taken me a few weeks to write this review. In my defense, I've spent quite a bit of time in those few weeks figuring out how soon we could come back.
All I can really say is that...More

Hi this is Marcia
We accept children during all months accept during the months of January, February and march when the majority of our guests are older people from cold climates who would prefer to vacation without children interrupting the tranquility. . I do have to say that we don't have TV and we dine together in the evening , which bores some children. We can seat your family apart if needed. We don't carry special furniture for children, but we make a great plain cheese Quesadilla for picky eaters.

Hi this is Marcia. . . you can snorkel right in front of the hotel, but the best snorkeling is at Punta Placer which is a 15 minute walk to the north along the beach. Those with bad knees can drive there. I see a turtle about one out of every 6 times I got out, so that would make it a 17% chance of seeing one. If that helps. The turtles nest to the South of us, most of the nests starting about 1/2 km south.
