We liked the room we reserved. It was a private corner room, with lots of windows and a cross breeze. We had a balcony and a field view. Far off we could see large gardens from the original plantation area. The pool is large and had lovely columns on one side. There is a giant size palapa at the entrance....

We stayed in the Hacienda for 2 nights. The hotel and its garden are beautiful. The rooms are standard and clean. Also, the Uxmal ruins are just across the street. However the restaurant serves extremely overpriced food which is just mediocre. As an example Guacamole & chips cost 145 Pesos. This is double of what we paid in Tulum/ Valladolid...

Thanks for your visit. 145 pesos translate into seven dollars, which yes, is what we charge for a great guacamole with hand made tortilla chips friend in Mazola corn oil and served by our bi-lingual waiters. By the way, that includes a 16% VAT tax, Our menu ranges in price from under ten to under $35 dollars. Yours is a...

We were on a touring holiday of the Mayan temples and had a three night stay at this hotel. The rooms were delightful, very large, almost colonial in style. We were able to open the louvres and have cool air blowing through. Pool was fine as was the food and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We loved staying at the Hacienda Uxmal... such a beautiful, unique and charming hotel that it's really a destination in itself. The pool and the central "courtyard" area are my favorite things about this hotel. The pool is about 50 feet in length, just long enough for lap swimming and the water is cool and refreshing in the tropical heat....

Thanks for your visit and your wonderful comments ! We are building a NEW museum, one that will host the vintage Land Rovers and Ford model "A"s of a by-gone era, but that are USABLE, fun, incredibly fun to drive, and are going to serve us to open new excursions and fun adventures all around the Hacienda, in Mayan temples...

We returned for another repeat visit and this time stayed for an entire week. All of the staff are truly wonderful and made us feel like family. Luis planned a traditional Mayan breakfast in a palapa for our last day and it was magnificent. We were also treated to a delicious grilled platter with steak, pork, chicken and octopus as...

We were on an archaeological tour with a group and stayed in one of the old rooms. They were simple but clean and the bathrooms were nice and spacious. What we got really upset about are the prices for food and beverages. I ordered a double espresso and was charged $5 (US dollars!) This is more than we payed in...

We believe you are making a wrong conversion. Our rates are in Mexican pesos. What rate of exchange did you use to come up with 5 dollars?

I absolutely recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to hit the ruins early in the morning. The hotel is located short walk from the ruins and is stunning, we really loved the place, the architecture and great pool area. This is a really nice place to relax after a hot day at the ruins. We arrived in the afternoon after visits to some other sites and convened upon the lovely pool, where we had a delicious, authentic (not sweet) margarita while swimming and birdwatching right from our lounges. We napped and then met outside our rooms (4 of us)...

We have stayed here many times and they never fail to please. It's like arriving home. The check in is always easy. The rooms are great with an amazing relaxing ambiance. The food and drinks are yummy. This time I tried the Kabah Fillet. I'm a picky fish eater and this red snapper prepared with Chaya is to die for....
