I was GRANDPAcking in Uxmal for 4 nights. Uxmal accommodation is expensive for me ... I booked the day before my arrival. I did this on purpose in the hope of getting a last minute discount. I wanted to stay in Uxmal next to the ruins … not commute from a town 15-25 kms away. For Uxmal I had to... More

Casa del Mago is being painted before our winter season. As part of Mayaland Resorts, The Hacienda Uxmal Plantation & Museum is undergoing the same. Next is the Lodge. So yes, we use our various facilities to accommodate our clients in hotels not being worked on. Thanks for your visit ! More

My husband and I wanted to see the light and sound show at Uxmal on our recent visit to Yucatan so we booked a room at The Lodge at Uxmal. The friendly staff booked us in and sent complimentary drinks to our room on the second floor. And what a room! Thatched roof, beautifully carved hardwood front door, stained glass... More

The place was a relaxing retreat from the bustling archeological site Uxmal right across from the lodge; we loved staying there with our family for 2 nights. Service was always there when needed, but never pushy. Luis Chan, the tour guide, made our stay very special. We did the Mayan breakfast with him, and it was very interesting what he... More

The arrival in Uxmal Lodge was certainly my best surprise during my trip through 5 states in Mexico. A preserved place with one of the most astounding archeological site and the magnificent Lodge just across the road. We were welcomed in a great and sincere way in an outdoor-colonial style reception by kind ladies, who introduced us to Luis Chan,... More

I was at Mayaland in Uxmal some years ago and loved it. This is even better. It is right next to the entrance to Uxmal. Most other places to stay are on the other side of the road or some distance away. These new accommodations are superb. Large bathrooms where everything works and comfy beds. But the real pleasure here... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. When we arrived, we were offered complimentary drinks, and checked into a beautiful, spacious, pristine room with views of the jungle. We had a bowl of tropical fruit in the center of our table and a hammock hung just outside our door. The most striking thing was that the lodge sits... More

After the busy life of Playa deal Carmen's all inclusive resorts The Lodge erects as an oasis of tranquility. Rooms are well equipped, beds are comfortable and clean. If you can get the jacuzzi suite, it makes a difference after a day of exploring the ruins. The food at the restaurant highly recommended though a bit expensive.

You have touched a cord dear to my heart and life's endeavors. I developed Playacar in the 1970's when only a handful of people lived there (21 souls when I bought the beach front property in 1968). 20 Years ago I designed and built the Lodge at Uxmal, next to the Hacienda and on grounds that have been in my... When we arrived at Uxmal, we were met by Luis of the Uxmal Lodge and he offered us the opportunity for a guided tour of the ruins.
