Arrived late from our flight into Cancun. The owners left a meal for in the room knowing that their onsite restaurant would be closed. This set the tone for an unforgetable few days of relaxation. I wanted a small hotel -- not a mega resort. I wanted a quiet pretty beach. I wanted an attentive service-oriented staff. I wanted not...

I wish, I shouldn't have to write a review on Al Cielo as I wish to keep this place secret. My family and I have been there twice already and each time it is a better experience. We've been staying in the same little bungalow villa "Atardecer" as we consider it as our little paradise. Al Cielo is such a...

I stayed in the room fuego, which literally steps out onto the beach. the room was darker than I had imagined, perhaps because so many of the photos showed the white adobe walls that can be found in the villas. I tend to prefer lighter tones and clean smooth surfaces, so the dark paneled room probably would not have been...

Dear Guest. All our staff thanks your for your kind comments. We are sorry to hear that you felt the rooms were dark, actually with the last renovations we added the big crystal window that is shown in the website photos and this lets a lot of sunlight inside the room, but we note your comment and will try to...
