I’ve stayed in this hotel several times over the last 18 months and have finally realised that it will never improve. Last night I was booked into an executive room which is undoubtedly the smallest such room I’ve ever had the misfortune in which to spend a night. I thought I could drown my sorrows by getting a G&T from...

I was at this hotel for the weekend,it as been really good and relaxing, all amenities good the staff are all well trained and put the customer first.I had to have an early evening meal due to my timings of my evening entertainment, this was no problem and the chefs produced a wonderful 3 course meal fit for a king.Breakfast the next...

We had our joint 50th birthday party in the Thames Suite last night, and can't praise the hotel enough. Great customer service from the start, in particular from Lauren who has been very friendly, helpful and efficient. Everything worked very smoothly on the night, and Jose, Hannah and the rest of the staff were cheerful and relaxed. We also stayed...

I was at the Bull for a week of meetings, staying on a conference package. Whilst the rooms are spacious, they are somewhat tired, lack character, and have no air conditioning. The rest of the hotel was a similar again lacking any real character. The food on the lunchtime buffet was okay, but little more. The bar menu wasn't extensive...

This hotel is a nice hotel with a traditional flavour about it with a nice room with good amenities and a modern bathroom. Breakfast is in the main traditional English and it has got a nice garden where in summer you can have a drink busking in the sun. What was a bit upsetting is to fun a magazine in...

We enjoyed our Christmas stay. The staff were very pleasant. The rooms were clean & well appointed. The bar food was very acceptable. We didn't try the restaurant but it seemed to be pricey. We would certainly consider staying there again. We have used the hotel on several occasions now to meet friends & family for a simple bar lunch...

A nice, characterful building. Decent room, with comfy bed - slept well. Bar areas, inside and out, were nice, but we stayed at the weekend when there was a wedding (or perhaps two) and felt a little like gatecrashers. Good to have parking available. Hotel restaurant aims to be quite high-end, but setting is a bit sterile and food was...

I joined the Ladies' Luncheon Club for a meal at the Bull Hotel in the appropriately named Bulstrode Room, which looks out to the west in the direction of the former residence of the Portland family at Bulstrode. The food was beautifully presented and expertly prepared, and the hotel staff had strength in depth when dealing with the AV requirements...

Stayed here for 2 nights and whilst the bar food was decent the actual restaurant was heavily overpriced for what was a very disappointing meal (still hungry at the end). Room was ok but again not much better than a premier inn with average water pressure in the shower. Not a place to remember

Dear Macl80 Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel and for sharing your feedback. I am pleased to learn that you enjoyed our offering the Conservatory Lounge bar. I am sorry that you felt your stay was underwhelming and felt our menu in the restaurant is overpriced. As with most 4 star hotels in the area our...
