Fantastic venue , food unbelievable and service was faultless . A must for a special occasion. You can also go on a beautiful boat trip on the Thames which was organised by the hotel. You can be taken by car or have a beautiful scenic 10 min walk to board your boat . Fantastic scenery on your journey .

My colleagues and I stayed here recently and I have to say what a lovely experience it was. The hotel and room surroundings are beautiful and capture the essence of a bygone era yet at the same time has all mod cons. talking of the rooms wow! I was in the Asquith room and it was very impressive to say...

Dating back to 1666, Cliveden has a story to tell, but is probably best known for the scandals of the early 1960's. When you drive into the grounds you arrive at the Love Fountain, which is made of marble and is a truly beautiful piece of sculpture, from there the long drive takes you up to the magnificent House. Cliveden...

Thanks to Nick and the crew at A Place like Home for organizing such a great stay at Cliveden House. The flat was clean, beautiful, quiet and so central. I felt vey safe and the station being a couple of minutes walk made traveling at night a breeze. I can't speak highly enough of Nick and A Place like Home...

This review appears not to be about us as we do not have any flats. Anyway I am delighted you had a great holiday and that you felt at home, especially as you were so far from home. Kind regards Sue W

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for two nights. Upon arriving at the Love fountain, the view of the hotel is magnificent. The reception staff were friendly but professional, giving us a quick tour of the hotel before showing us to our room ( George Bernard Shaw) overlooking the infamous pool area. The history of the building and...

It's not enough to praise the magnificent restored buildings, the well-kept gardens and premises, open by the National Trust to the public, or the well-equipped spa - I must express my appreciation of the service. The staff is amazing, very attentive, quick to fulfill every whim or request of the guests, polite but friendly, amiable and, yes, pampering. The hotel...

We stayed at Cliveden at the weekend and it was one of the most enchanting experiences I have ever had. The house itself is breathtaking on arrival and service from start to finish on a par with the house. We stayed in the "Chaplin" room which offered an ample size space, a view of the spa and pool and a...

Tea at Cliveden is something special. It is served in the main historic lounge in a luxurious atmosphere. Certainly book your tea for that special occasion. Do not take the Glass of Champaign option. The price is ridiculous - very very epensive and not worth the money unless you are a millionaire. The service is excellent. 148 pounds for 4...
