This hotel is a very peaceful and quaint place to stay for different occasions. I was on a business trip however would definitely go back for a country weekend! The room was very well equipped with a full en suite and refreshments in room. The quaint vibe was reinforced by the style of the room which was classic and even...

What a place! A gorgeous old house converted into a luxury hotel in Buckinghamshire countryside. We got a fantastic deal from Secret Escapes including cream tea with Prosseco, three course dinner with wine and breakfast for less than you usually pay for room only in a three star hotel. Our rooms were small but perfect. Immaculately clean with gorgeous bed...

We arrived for my wife's birthday meal only to find we were the only people in the restaurant which was a shame as you need a bit of atmosphere when eating. The food was excellent and value for money, the service was polite but slow. Overall we probably will find somewhere else next time.

Booked two nights through Secret Escapes as we liked the look of the hotel and it's location, we weren't disappointed. We had a free upgrade to a junior suite, comfy bed, nice cosy room and very quiet. The upper bedrooms can only be accessed by a quite a number of stairs so I would request a room on the lower...

Booked afternoon tea for 230pm on a Saturday- there is plenty of parking and it the hotel is set around grounds and the entrance is easy to find, we arrived three of us and were sat down promptly- the restaurant overlooks the gardens which in the summer would be delightful. We were served our choices of tea and clotted cream...

If nouvelle cuisine is your choice of food this place will really be up your street but for my wife and i we left the dinner table still feeling hungry. A great pity really as the quality of the food was good just not quite enough volume. Without exception we found the staff to be most accomodating and very friendly...

We had booked a package and were a bit worried as we hadn't been able to pre-book a specific room. We arrived to a warm welcome at reception and were delighted to be given Orkney, a bright and spacious junior suite overlooking the lovely gardens. In the afternoon we had a complimentary cream tea and glass of prosecco and each...

Our son treated us to two nights B & B at this amazing hotel, from checking in to checking out everything worked like a dream. We were upgraded to a premier room the "Cedars", top class room, dreamy bed, spotlessly clean room. Superb breakfast in a delightful setting. Very convenient for Windsor and London. But the most memorable thing about...

My partner and I had a two night break here after a recent family bereavement, and everything was absolutely fantastic. The hotel itself is stunning and set in beautiful grounds, we had a lovely clean and comfortable room, but what made it for us was the service and the quality of food. Nothing was too much trouble, staff very courteous...
