A traditional market town pub/hotel right next to the Market Square, serving Gold Medal-winning pies. As it was a Saturday lunchtime the restaurant wasn't open, but the bar has a good choice of places to sit - from tables in the window or by the fireplace, to a tucked away windowless nook. No frills: the bar looks and feels pretty...

We stayed in a family room, which was very clean, warm and homely. The staff were very friendly and gave us useful local knowledge. The breakfast was self service with plenty to choose from. The full English was cooked well and tasty and filled us up for most of the day. We would stay there again.

Alongside the hotel is an excellent local pub which serves a fantastic pub menu, including the most spectacular selection of home made pies. Make sure you are hungry before attempting a pie. They are huge! Served with peas and mash or chips, I thoroughly recommend the steak and stilton. For a lighter bite the do a great bacon brie and...

I never stayed at this hotel. My wife and I came to see this place as a potential location for our wedding this year. The person we spoke to did not make us feel welcome, they were more interested in how much things were going to cost rather than listen to what we were looking for. Ten days before our...

Came here for my mum's birthday and wasn't disappointed. The carvery was absolutely fantastic, portion size was great, nice variety of veg and sauces roasting were spot on even my father enjoyed them and he's very fussy. I would advise booking in advance as it was very busy when we went. Good job

Stayed at The Bell for 2 nights over the xmas period, unexpectedly due to boiler breakdown at home. The staff were so accomodating and the family room was amazing. The room was huge with an amazing bathroom, Beds were comfy with plenty of spare towels and pillows, which are unusual for hotels... Have stayed in many hotels from hilton, premier,...

We met up with the family and friends on Christmas Eve had a great meal at the bell. I had one of the steak pies that's made there cracking with a pint. Staff friendly and very welcoming. Also a great pint of Abbotts. Well done team Bell, be back soon.

My husband and I visited the pub in the hotel for afternoon drinks. We waited about 15 minutes to be served by a somewhat surly and unhelpful barman, the inside is drab and depressing, not a very good first impression.

Where do you start in a review of this venue. I have stayed in all level of hotels up and down the country and I have to say I would put this one up in my personal favorites. The beer isn't the best if I am honest, but it was fairly priced and the barman was a pleasant enough chap...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome to The Bell Hotel Winslow, ideally located for anyone seeking an Aylesbury hotel or Milton Keynes hotel. Our hotel lies in the centre of the historical market town of Winslow, enriched with quaint boutique stores and situated in the midst of the Buckinghamshire countryside. All our bedrooms are en-suite, well appointed and comfortable with tastefully colour coordinated fabrics and furnishings. We provide four executive rooms with the luxury of jacuzzi baths and four poster beds, as well as three family rooms and our range of double, twin and single rooms. In late 2012, the hotel was purchased by its previous owners who are once again providing a daily 'hands on management' approach towards the running of the hotel. Very popular with local residents of the town, "Rosies" Bar has now moved to the hotel and their well known management offer a wide range of Beers, Wines and Spirits along with an extensive and appetizing Bar Menu, created by their original chefs. The Bell Hotel is composed of "Rosies" Bar, plus a Carvery Restaurant - serving up to 160 people - a TV lounge, Coffee Lounge and ample free parking for all guests. Free internet access is available in all public areas. We supply meeting and conference facilities as well as catering for a large number of private functions and weddings for which we also hold a civil ceremony license. We look forward to seeing you here at The Bell Hotel. ... more   less
