Have stayed in the White House Manor on three occasions now, each time in a different room and all were completely unique. Favourite so far is the Coach House, which is almost like an annex to the rear of the property, but gives the feeling of being in your own little cottage. The other rooms, although beautiful, feel like a...

The manor called me to let me know my room was ready - excellent ! I was in the area for work at a festival, upon arriving the house looked splendid and u loved the quirky period features, the ladies on reception were real people and not talking from a script which is what you get with a chain. Fabulous...

The Earl Grey room was nicely decorated but it was extremely stuffy and very hot. If you opened the one window it did not seem to help but then the noise from the adjacent road became unacceptable. There was a free standing fan in the room but this was innafective and quite noisy. The bed was large but very hard...

The White House is a lovely private hotel. The only request I made was to have a quiet room. My room was located on the ground floor with access gained through the restaurant. I was woken by the power shower above the room, the laminate flooring, and the noise from the dinning room next door. This noise continued throughout the...

We checked in and was given the Coach House which was an annex at the side of the hotel. A lovely comfortable room with everything you need. Lovely fluffy towels, great nights sleep and fab shower. We decided to have breakfast in our room on both days and that was very good indeed. On the whole staff friendly but not...

I stayed at the white house manor for 12 nights whilst working in the area. I stayed in two of the single rooms, Glyndebourne and Trafalgar. I very much enjoyed my stay here. The positives: - The staff were very friendly and helpful and made every effort to see that I was comfortable. They were also able to provide breakfast...

The hotel is very quaint, pretty and clean with good facilities. We were well looked after by the staff on arrival and at breakfast. We would highly recommend. The rooms have ensuite bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities, fans and wifi. Free car parking is also available. We arrived back at the hotel late in the evening to discover that...

High quality small hotel, excellent breakfast and service. Easy access to Peak District for wonderful walking and stunning views. We took train to Manchester which took only half an hour. Pressburg Village very pretty and Bulls Head was great for dinner. Would certainly return when next in this area

This is an absolutely fantastic place. The rooms are phenomenally well equipped (our shower even had a steam room) and the decor is breath taking. The staff are very good and extremely professional. The breakfast is amongst the best I have tasted in a hotel and I have stayed in many 5 star establishments do know the benchmarks. The grounds...

This hotel is a delight. I will be back whenever I am near. Staff are friendly and welcoming, breakfast is fabulous. I had such a sense of peacefulness, loved the honesty bar in the conservatory, and the walk through the lovely village of Prestbury
