This hotel has just changed hands. Staff is helpful, the bathrooms got an upgrade some years ago to middle standard, but the carpets and furniture is old and stained. There must be better alternatives in the neighbourhood

Think the title of the review says it all. It was nice! We were a largish party including children. We chose from the Christmas menu which had a decent selection and could be adapted for dietary requirements. The food was nice (not amazing, but certainly nothing wrong with it). Staff were good (couple of reminders/ chase ups given, but there...

Lovely food as always, but service badly lacking. We booked in, gave our name, and then we were forgotton. Asked us twice again for our name. Food order sent to wrong table. Most of the staff have left and I have been told it is now run by agency. These staff need much more experience.

We visited the Bridge Hotel restaurant with friends for mid-week lunch. The hotel was nicely decorated and comfortable. The dining room was also very nice. On the day we visited the restaurant was not very busy, so we had the full attention of all the waiting staff, which began to feel quite uncomfortable after a while. Everyone speaking in hushed...

We thought the hotel really nice and had an extremely pleasant room which was warm, comfortable, elegant and quiet. They provided a festive dinner for thirteen of our family and the food was excellent. The service was a little chaotic but then it was just before Christmas and they were very busy. The reception and bar staff were most helpful...

Disappointing. Starter , melon which was frozen melon balls on Parma ham which was wet from the melon. Expected fresh melon. Main course Pheasant which was perfectly cooked , vegetables quite hard not my style. Staff very good and so was the service, Expensive for what it was..

Called in for the first time for a lunchtime pint at the Bridge Hotel in Prestbury. For a visitor, it was a most welcoming place in a welcoming town and this was emphasised by the way we were treated by Leonie behind the bar. The ale was fine and she tempted us with the details of current and Christmas catering...

My partner and I visited here last weekend for a meal we were overwhelmed by the whole experience. From us entering into the bar area we were welcomed by a very friendly young lady and showed our seat in the lounge and asked if we would like to have a drink before going into the dining room. We were shown...

I stayed here for the absolutely great location and easy access to Prestbury for dinners and location to the company we were visiting. Great rate, friendly staff and reasonable service. The rooms are quite tired, mattress was horrible and pillows were so thin and flimsy. The toiletries were nice. Did not sleep well on any of my 3 nights. That...

I was recommended to try The Bridge for a mid ride break on a wet cycle ride. What a delight! Leonie and Cath made the visit an absolute pleasure and the coffe and toasted teacake were lovely. (They even arranged for the rain to stop.) Thanks again I will be back.
