Our double room (number 12 on 2nd floor) was small, but beautifully furnished and with great touches like real coffee and good toiletries. Having a bath rather than shower was a huge bonus. Truthfully, I would not have been happy to pay the full advertised price, but at almost half I have no complaints, and the breakfast choices were excellent....

Spent a few family afternoons at the Swan recently. The food is always very tasty and service is excellent. It's a classic pub / inn so the atmosphere is lively. Dog friendly dining and good selection of outside seating too. Good selection of beers and wine.

After frequenting other establishments in the group, decided to stay overnight while on a night away with my wife. We were not disappointed the room was lovely, very clean and quiet. I would definitely recommend the hotel for a break.

After visiting several inns in the area in an effort to find the best Roast luncheon I finally found it today. On arrival my friend and I were shown to a very small table and as I now have difficulty moving we requested a move to something a little more spacious. The staff quickly obliged and from then on nearly...

Booked this hotel at random for a work trip and was pleasantly surprised. I got a really nice room with lots of nice little touches. I had a very pleasant evening meal with a couple of good real ales. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Private car park a bonus to. Would definitely recommend for either work or holiday.

Been here before and had a great visit. Service this time was terrible. 3 staff to wait on, but drinks and food were just not coming. Ordered a pot of tea with scones. After 20 mins still no scone. It only needs to be put on a plate with butter and jam , no excuse. Cancelled that and ordered some...

Very warm welcome by all members of staff. Unfortunately the room let them down a little as it's in need of a refurb, very dusty, cracked washbasin. Due to that, a little overpriced, although breakfast was included and was 1st class.

The rooms are beautiful, very tastefully decorated and sympathetic to the historical building, along with the professional and very friendly staff it was a lovely place to stay. I look forward to visiting this hotel again.

Whilst the hotel is really nice and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly, we were put into a twin room in the courtyard area. The room is cosy, nicely equipped, the bathroom had nice fluffy towels and bath cosmetics etc. I couldnt get the shower to work but the bath was adequate and enjoyable. The problem was that the...
