Last year 2015 was great, came back in 2016 , food not so good as last year but service was awful. We went down for canapés at 7:00 in the restaurant for 7:30 and food was served so slow , still waiting for coffee at 9:45, so we left it.

we went here Dec 28 for an afternoon tea. It was ok, Ive had better. But, ive never had an afternoon tea, with scone and cream WITHOUT jam! Yes, we never got any jam, just butter and cream. Also, we were only offered one pot of tea between us. Other afternoon teas we have been on always had the option...

Food average at best for a £79 per head Xmas day lunch, have certainly had much better. Restaurant dirty and dated, huge dusty cobwebs, atmosphere zero, very little Christmas cheer, restaurant access very disabled unfriendly, disabled toilet very inaccessible from restaurant having to negotiate long distance and several steps. Altogether a wholly disappointing experience. E mailed general manager with issues...

This is like a really old house (like Speke Hall) beautiful building with stunning views in a country location. We only stayed for the night and it was very reasonable price for B&B. The room was very comfy and spacious, bathroom was adequate needs some up grading. the Lounge and bar area were very nice and comfortable. The dining room...

The room was large but the both the rooms itself and the bathroom were very outdated, there were no bottles of fresh water or a fridge. Dirt and crumbs could be seen along the edges of the room and bathroom and the bed itself wasn't particularly comfortable. I would rather have stayed at home.

Did an afternoon tea groupon deal... Allegedly £40, but £15 as an offer . Worth £ 15 ? just about I reckon . No sandwich choice unlike many other afternoon teas we have had, no tea or coffee refill offered . Was it the "cheap groupon tag" that equalled the food & service? who knows. Not worth £40 any day...

Got to say the best Christmas party night we've been too. Value for money, food, service and staff were great. Got upgraded to a suite which was lovely as it was for my birthday. Usually on party nights at other places the food isn't the best and the staff don't want to be working but not here. Definitely recommend. Can't wait...

We stayed at this beautiful black and white 'Tudor' hotel for 3 nights. What a gem of a hotel with lovely friendly staff who all seem to love their jobs. Nothing is too much trouble and each and every one had time to say good morning with a smile. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and ate in the restaurant on...
