stayed at the hotel about 6 years ago and could not fault any of it. the food was lovely and plenty of it. We had a lake facing suite which was nice. Breakfast was good and lots to choose from. Would stay again

Was very impressed when we pulled up lovely looking hotel. Was not disappointed the whole place was amazing ready set up for Christmas every inch of downstairs was decorated to a very high standerd. our room was large and beautiful, staff were lovely and breakfast was really nice will dffenatly go back in 2017

Excellent experience over the New Year. Room extremely well laid out and spacious (it was not the basic room but a fell side view room which was well worth the extra cost). Lovely hotel with great views ( ours was Derwent water). Rooms were very clean and beds were large and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty with local produce. Staff professional and friendly. Close to the town of Keswick.

From arrival when we were upgraded through to the lovely room the fantastic evening meal and breakfast the following day at all stages the service was slick professional friendly and welcoming. Would recommend this hotel with its great location to anyone celebrating a special occasion or just an indulgent break

From the start of our renovations in January 2017 our leisure club and beauty salon will remain closed until Summer 2018, when we reveal our brand new luxury spa and a brasserie restaurant with an outdoor terrace, as well as 18 new exclusive bedroom suites.
