Lovely early stop on Coast to Coast. Room and ensuite was large and well equipped. Friendly and helpful staff and a warm welcome. Lovely food in the bar. Would definitely stay again if I was in the area.

Great place for a 1 night stop when walking through Ennerdale. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Rooms are basic but adequate. Nice garden and nature outside. Not too loud despite being a busy pub downstairs. Food was better than expected.
