We didn't want to write a review because then everyone would want to go and it would become fully booked and we want to return lol ,but that's being selfish .What a beautiful place a lovely welcome from Roger and Christine and the self contained room with shower room was stunning with everything you could need for your stay (wish...

We have just returned from this beautiful hidden gem. A newly renovated barn/out building with all modern and must have amenities. With a few little extras (robes, slippers and Hot water bottles). Lovely decor, thoroughly clean and tidy. Excellent breakfast selection and very welcoming and accommodating hosts Roger and Christine. Perfect for a busy couple/family/walkers who want the perfect relaxing getaway....

Travelling later than anticipated, we were contacted on the telephone by our host who recommended places to eat along our journey and met us on arrival. The room was beautifully decorated, a self contained room with on suite and a lovely seating area outside with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. So peaceful and relaxing just what we needed. Excellent...

This was probably the most comfortable modern B&B we stayed at during our Coast-to-Coast hike. The bed was big and comfy. The bathroom was very modern and spotless. They do a lot of the little touches right like have a free big bottle of water in the room for us. This is very welcoming after a long and tiring hike....

We stayed with Chris and Roger at Ghyll Farm B & B after walking from St Bees to Ennerdale Bridge. The B & B is in a tasteful and modern conversion of a barn and is immaculately kept. The setting is tranquil and idyllic (the garden is also beautifully kept) and the views are outstanding. I wish we could have...

We stayed at Ghyll Farm on the first night of our Coast to Coast trip. This was the second time we've stayed there, and it simply reinforced what a perfect place it was to soak away the first day's walking. The guides may deter people, because it's located a little outside the village, but honestly the short walk is worth...

Although this B&B is a bit off of the Coast-2-Coast trail, the extra 1.6 mile walk was well rewarded by an outstanding stay at this charming inn. Our rooms were situated in a private garden with sweeping views over hilly green pastures. Very bucolic! The rooms in a converted barn dating from the 1800s were recently renovated with impeccable attention...

Just spent 4 nights at Ghyll Farm B & B. The accommodation was excellent, clean and tidy. Roger and Chris were friendly and able to guide us with their local knowledge. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and good size portions. This property is one of the best B & B I have...

After a full day on our feet as part of the coast to coast walk, we were delighted to finally arrive at this gem of a farm. Please note that the farm is a good 1.5 MILE out of Ennerdale Bridge so prepare for the extra time on your feet. Remember to phone ahead so that Chris and Roger know...
